I’m certified in Dog First Aid, Canine Nutrition, Dog Behaviour and Animal Welfare, and I’m also a certified Feline Behaviourist. That means I’m not guessing what your pet needs, I’m reading body language, stress signals and patterns, and adjusting care accordingly. I work with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, including seniors, nervous pets and those who need medication. I’m confident administering meds, including injections when required, and I take hygiene and feeding routines seriously. I’ve cared for animals all my life, from dogs of every type to small pets and exotics, so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs and handling styles. I work from home, which lets me provide consistent supervision, companionship and regular updates. For dogs staying with me, I have a secure garden and I’m happy to follow your usual walk routine and enrichment preferences. For cats, I focus on routine and low stress visits: food, fresh water, litter hygiene, gentle play if they want it, and respectful space if they don’t. My partner also helps, and together we run Nika Pet Food, so if you’d like, your dog can have our freshly prepared meals during their stay.
