Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine because I work remotely full-time as a DevOps Engineer. I’m home all day, which gives me the flexibility to be fully present for the pets I care for—whether that’s letting them out for potty breaks, giving belly rubs between meetings, or taking them for a walk when they need a break (just like I do!). My mornings usually start with feeding and playtime, followed by some outside time in my secure backyard. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks to check in with the pets—some cuddle time, a little fetch, or just hanging out together. Evenings are relaxed and cozy, with dinner, walks (if needed), and winding down together. At night, the pets sleep with me, so they’re never alone and always feel safe and loved. Whether it’s weekdays or weekends, my schedule is built to keep your pet happy, engaged, and cared for around the clock. I don’t take on anything else when I have a booking—your pet becomes my full priority

Before any booking, I love to get a good understanding of your pup’s personality and routine. Here’s what’s most helpful for me to know ahead of time: Daily routine – Feeding times, potty habits, walk preferences, and sleep setup Temperament – Are they shy or outgoing? How do they react to new people or pets? Medical needs – Any allergies, medications, or conditions I should be aware of Triggers or fears – Loud noises, being alone, certain dogs, etc. Crate habits – Do they use one at all? (I never crate unless they’re already trained and comfortable with it) Energy level – Are they more laid-back or super playful? Commands and boundaries – What words do they know? Any house rules I should follow? Pool safety - Do they tend to jump into pools? (I have a pool in my backyard, so this helps with supervision plans) Marking behavior - Do they mark inside when in new environments? Aggression - Have they ever shown aggressive behavior toward people or other animals? Pet friendliness - Are they social with other pets or do they prefer their own space? Comfort items or routines - Any special toys, beds, or habits that help them settle in? The more I know, the more I can make sure their stay is safe, fun, and stress-free-for both of you. Anything else that makes them feel safe, happy, and loved and give them the care and comfort they deserve.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I try to match their personality and energy level-but fun is always guaranteed! If your pup loves the outdoors, we'll play fetch in my big, fenced backyard or go on relaxing walks to explore the neighborhood. For the cuddle bugs, we'll have cozy indoor time filled with belly rubs, naps, and all the love they can handle. I love interactive play too-tug-of-war, puzzle toys, or just goofy play sessions that get tails wagging. For pets who need a little mental stimulation, I work in some basic training refreshers, snuffle mats, or treat-based games to keep them engaged and happy. And of course, there's always time for sunbathing in the backyard, supervised squirrel-watching, or just lounging together while I work. At the end of the day, whether they're high-energy or low-key, I make sure every pet feels seen, safe, and entertained-like they're on their own little vacation.

I have a big, secure backyard where they can safely stretch their legs, sniff around, or enjoy a little sun—and if your pup loves walks, I’m happy to take them out for some fresh air and tail-wagging adventure. One thing I want you to know upfront—dogs are never crated here unless they’re already trained and prefer it that way. And they’ll never be left outside other than potty breaks. In fact, they’ll sleep right next to me, just like my own pups do—safe, warm, and snuggled up. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, even for a short while. That’s why I send regular photo and message updates, so you always know how they’re doing. Monika took great care of Chit yesterday. She was very responsive, accommodating, and kept me updated throughout the day, which really helped put my mind at ease. What I appreciated most was how naturally she cared for him—it felt like she treated Chit as one of her own. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and pays attention to their needs. Chit was happy, comfortable, and well cared for when I picked him up. Finding someone you can trust with your dog isn’t easy, and I’m really glad I found Monika. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Chit with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.
Monika took really good care for Bourbon and Woody. She was extremely attentive to both of their needs. My pups were relaxed and enjoyed being there. Monika kept us informed daily. Her home is a safe and happy place to leave them while you are away. I would highly recommend her to take care of your pets. 5 stars!!!!
This is my 2nd time booking Monika and again it was amazing! My puppy loves being with her and it makes me happy to see him so happy. She is very communicative and she always puts my mind at ease because I know my dog is safe!
Monika is amazing. This is my second time leaving our dog and she treats and takes care of him like a baby. She shared pictures regularly including videos of him. She allows him to sit and sleep on couches and bed and treats him as his own. Went of the way to feed him when he was not eating, taking him For long walks. Can’t ask for anything more. Highly highly recommend her.
