Monica watched my dog for a week while on vacation. She did a tremendous job! My sweet girl was taken care of impeccably and I came home to a house that looked just like I left it. I would HIGHLY recommend her to watch your beloved pet when needed. She is watching my dogs (*yes, now I have 2) again this fall. If you want someone you can trust, Monica is your girl!
Did a great job keeping me up to date on everything that was going on. She made sure she got a lot of play time outside and cuddled with her. (She loves cuddles) Would highly recommend for your puppy/dog care. 🥰

Pet care fits naturally into my routine and brings a great balance to my life. I currently work part-time as a waitress, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate consistent time and energy to dog walking, sitting, and overall pet care throughout the week. I recently graduated with my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville University and am currently studying for my national board exam to become licensed in New York State. During this period, my schedule remains highly flexible, allowing me to provide dependable care, whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or extended stays. Spending time with animals is not only something I enjoy, but also something that keeps me grounded and motivated as I prepare for the next step in my professional journey.

Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, their comfort and safety are always my top priority. At my home, your pet will be treated like family. I have one dog of my own—Stella—who is the queen of our house and loves making new furry friends. She’s extremely friendly and gentle, and would be a great companion for your pup. We also have a fully fenced-in yard, perfect for safe outdoor play and exercise. If your dog is more comfortable in their own home, I’m happy to care for them there as well. I understand how important routine is, and I always make sure to follow your dog’s regular schedule to help them feel secure and relaxed. Whether it’s in my home or yours, I strive to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

A typical day
A typical day while pet sitting or dog walking is all about keeping the pets happy, healthy, and engaged. I start with a potty break or morning walk to get them moving and energized for the day. Depending on the dog’s age and energy level, I’ll tailor our activities—this might include a brisk walk, a game of fetch, or some fun training exercises to keep their minds sharp. Throughout the day, I make sure they have plenty of water, follow their feeding schedule, and get lots of affection and attention. If I’m watching them at home, I like to rotate between playtime, cuddle time, and rest so they feel comfortable and safe. For dogs that enjoy it, we might explore a local trail, visit a dog-friendly park, or have a little backyard play session. I also make sure to maintain their routine as closely as possible so they feel secure while their owners are away. Most of all, I focus on making their day fun, loving, and stress-free.
