When your pet stays with me, they’re not just being “watched” — they’re welcomed into my home and treated like part of the family. From sofa snuggles and playtime to calm reassurance and routine, I make sure every fur baby feels safe, loved, and totally at home. I’m confident caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, having grown up around them my whole life. Once we’ve had a chat, I’ll take the time to understand your dog’s routine, quirks, and needs so I can tailor their care perfectly. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for — giving them the very best care that both you and they truly deserve. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new, which is why I treat that trust seriously. I’m reliable, gentle, and genuinely obsessed with animal happiness. You’ll receive regular pup-dates, photos, and little check-ins so you can relax knowing your fur baby is safe, settled, and probably being spoiled just a little. Monica looked after my Jack Russell for a long weekend whilst I went away with my partner. She kept me updated on everything about my dog and she was so attentive. I felt really comfortable talking to her daily. I would recommend her to anyone!
I had two Huskies, as you may know, they can be a handful and only really respond to a primary owner unless you can appeal to them in another way. They were always well-behaved around Monica. Probably her calm approach when she was around them. A treat helped too of course. She listens to owners about their pets and tries to understand the breed too. Your pets in safe hands with her.
Monica was recommended to me through a friend. She took amazing care of my Westie (Macky) while I was away for a week, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was the first time I’d left him for this long. She sent me daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind and let me see how happy and relaxed he was. She made sure he got plenty of exercise, including trips to the park, and of course he was spoiled with lots of treats and attention. It was clear he felt comfortable and loved with her. I’ve already booked Monica for my next trip.
Monica is one of the most caring and dependable people I know when it comes to animals. She’s patient, attentive, and genuinely cares for them. You can see how natural she is just by the way she cares for her own dog, Libby—she absolutely adores her and goes above and beyond to make sure she’s happy, healthy, and loved every single day. Monica would be well trusted to look after any pet and make sure they get lots of cuddles playtime and long walks. I would trust her completely with my pets and feel confident they’d be safe, comfortable, and truly cared for in her hands.
The lovely Monica cared for my fluffy little man by taking him on a walk when I was bed bound. My little Marley loves seeing his Monica. She has a natural ability with animals in general.
Monica cared for our Lhasa Apso, Henry, for two weeks while we were away on a family holiday abroad, and the experience exceeded all expectations. As Henry is a very nervous dog, we were initially quite anxious about leaving him with someone outside the family. However, from the very beginning, Monica was professional, attentive, and incredibly reassuring. She provided regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind and showed just how happy and settled Henry was in her care. It was clear he was treated with genuine kindness and patience throughout his stay. We honestly couldn’t recommend Monica highly enough. Thanks to her, we were able to fully enjoy our holiday, and on our next trip away, we’ll be looking forward to Henry spending time with his new pal rather than feeling nervous about leaving him behind.

Schedule
I work in a school, so my schedule is perfectly suited to pet care, with plenty of free time on weekends and during school holidays to give your pet my full attention (no rushed walks or lonely hours here!). My job and animals are my two biggest passions, and both require patience, kindness, and trust — qualities I bring into every pet I care for.

Safety, trust & environment
Me and my boyfriend, Ryan will always treat your pets like part of the family. We have a secure, fenced garden where dogs are free to wander in and out, stretch their legs, and enjoy some fresh air whenever they like. Sofa cuddles are very much encouraged here — the “no dogs on furniture” rule definitely doesn’t apply in our house! If your dog prefers or requires a crate, we also have a large utility room that works perfectly as a calm, comfortable space. We have a friendly cockapoo family dog who lives at my parents’ house and occasionally comes to visit, ideal for dogs who enjoy a playmate (only if they’re happy with company, of course). We’re lucky to be surrounded by lots of lovely walks, and if you’re comfortable with your dog using a doggy seat belt, we love heading out to explore new places at the weekends. With security cameras in place and a calm, loving home environment, you can rest easy knowing your dog will be safe, secure, and very well cared for with us. 💛🐶

A typical day
We’ll spend time playing their favorite games, whether that’s tossing a ball, tugging on a toy, or chasing bubbles around the yard. Daily walks turn into little adventures full of sniffing, exploring, and fresh air. There’s always plenty of cuddle time for pets who love affection, along with calm moments just hanging out together. And of course, treat time is a highlight—used for rewards, good behavior, and a little extra joy to make each day feel special.
