Your Neighbor, Dog, & House Sitter!
Hi! My name is Monica and I would be delighted to watch your pet! I would love to go exploring on a long walk or nice (slow) jog with your pet, but am equally happy to spend time showering them with plenty of belly rubs or games of fetch. I work from home, so I am able to take dogs out frequently and reassure anxious dogs who just need someone around. I live in a townhome community with trails nearby that my dog and I like to walk and would love to show your pet too, whether that walk is 5 minutes or 50! My 12-year old rescue Westie Truman is working on his training and gets along very well and easily with other little to medium sized dogs. That said, if you have a bigger pup we may not be the best fit, as Tru can still be scared of bigger dogs sadly (we’re working on it with his cousin Eddie). I’d be happy to do a meet and greet if you’re interested prior. The animals’ health and safety are my highest priority, and I do have the ability to separate them if you have concerns about stress, rest, or if your pup is working on resource guarding. Let’s talk more about this if so, as I think that’s important to knowing if we’re the right fit for you. I would love to see how our schedules can work together. This was our first time having a sitter in our home, and Monica was absolutely amazing!! She took the absolute best care of our Sadie girl, and we returned to a very happy dog! Monica sent us photos while we were gone so we could see all of the fun Sadie was having - it was very obvious she was enjoying Monica’s company. We have already booked Monica for our next trip! If I could give more stars, I would!!

Schedule
I get a lot of joy in spending time with animals, so I love being able to work in time to care for them, sharing in my daily exercise with them and/or relaxing together at the end of the day. I do work remotely full time, making vacation care super easy to arrange as I can spend the whole day with your pet! My dog Truman and I typically go on 2-4 walks per day of varying length.

Typically I go on long walks with the dogs I watch, occasionally to the dog park (only if they’ve been socialized there already), or hang out with them for as long as they want their bellies rubbed!
