I grew up with animals and had my own pets for many years, including two beloved min pins who passed in 2016. While I haven’t adopted again (yet), pet sitting has become a meaningful way to stay connected with animals. I’ve been caring for pets locally since 2022, including dogs, cats, fish, and the occasional small mammal. Over time, I’ve developed a strong ability to read both people and animals, which helps me respond with attunement and care to each pet’s unique needs and personality.

I’ve been pet sitting through another platform since 2019 and am happy to share my reviews upon request. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, where they’re most comfortable and routines can stay familiar. I’m attentive to details, respectful of your space, and treat your home and animals with the same care I would want for my own. I know what it’s like to leave a pet in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that lightly. I approach this work with a deep respect for animals and the trust you place in me. Connecting with them is something that genuinely lights me up, and I do my best to make the process smooth, communicative, and grounded in care.

I had a good experience with Monica! She house sat and took good care of my two dogs. Communication was easy and timely, and I really appreciated the updates while I was away. My dogs were happy and well cared for when I returned, and my home was in great shape. I’d definitely book her again and would recommend her!
Monica was an exceptional sitter! She sent frequent updates and pictures, prioritized our pets safety and happiness, and left the house spotless! She was very flexible when our trip had to be extended due to flight issues, and was all around a lovely person! Cannot recommend enough and will definitely be booking again!

Monica was great with our 2 dogs! One of our dogs requires multiple medicines twice daily, and Monica was fully on top of it. As soon as we met her, we were confident she’d do a great job (very confident and calm demenor) with our dogs and allow us to focus on a fun trip which is exactly what happened. Our dogs instantly liked her too and I know they got as much loving while we were gone as they do when we are here. We also returned to a spotless house! Thank you so much for everything Monica - can’t wait to have you back!
Buddy had his second walk with just Monica, who is the first person to walk him aside from his mom and I. We appreciate how Monica was patient and encouraging, continually building his trust.

Schedule
I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy to adapt to your pet’s routine—whether that means daily walks, consistent feeding times, or simply making sure they get plenty of love and attention. I’m available for overnights and can accommodate a variety of care needs.
