I'm currently a stay at home mom and have tons of flexibility in my schedule. I have a few times a week when I need to be out of the house but only for a few hours at a time.

We have a large fenced backyard but it is a short fence. Some dogs respect it, and if some are motivated they may be able to jump it. We have two cats that primarily live upstairs. We do have a baby gate on our stairs. I'm comfortable crating dogs and own an xl crate.

If your dog is sensitive to loud noises or high energy kids we may not be the right fit. My boys absolutely love animals but they can be loud and boisterous!
A typical day
I'm most used to dogs that are active! So I usually start the day with a walk around the neighborhood. Depending on how much activity they need we can play in the back yard or go to the dog park later in the day!
