Passionate for dogs and their care
I've had experience caring for a variety of pets since age 6. I adopted two dogs in 2011 (sadly both have passed) and one cat in 2018. I have experience in senior dog care, particularly those with allergies, anxiety, and cancer. I also have experience caring for dogs with feeding tubes and megaesophagus. Although I have a lot of experience in senior dog care, I enjoy working with energetic puppies.

AMAZING!!! We had a broken A/C in the middle of a heat wave. We got great updates and photos on how our fur babies were doing and staying cool. I would highly recommend!!!

Monica was amazing! This was our first experience with using Rover and I cannot recommend Monica enough. If I could give 10 stars I would. She provided daily updates with pictures, she has a fenced yard and has room for them to play. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our two puppies were well cared for and enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Monica.
Monica is AWESOME! She watched my dog for a week when my family went out of town on vacation. She was excellent, she treated my dog like one of her own. My dog loved her so much, she did not want her to leave when we got back home. She is the only dog sitter I would use for my dog. She took her on walks daily. I also trust her to stop by my house to let my dog out and check on her throughout the week. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Schedule
I am currently exploring new career paths, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your doggos! I am available Monday through Friday and weekends. I am home much of the day; however, I have occasional appointments. I do maintain a regular gym schedule, so I am typically gone for a couple hours in the evening 4-5 days a week and Saturday morning.

I have experience crating dogs who have separation anxiety, as well as dogs with special needs who need e-collars or cones when alone. I also maintain a clean pet friendly home. We do not use harsh chemicals for cleaning, trash is kept out of reach, and we have a large securely fenced backyard. Although our yard is securely fenced, I typically remain outside with pets.
Pets
A typical day
I love to provide physical and mental stimulation for dogs. We can play games, go on walks, or go on a hike. For hounds, I enjoy hiding a treat inside of my house and letting them sniff it out. It’s mental stimulation they love.
