Hello! My name is Monica. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience stems from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I live in a house on a lake with a large backyard and have an active life style. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

Very responsive and let me know how Winston was adjusting throughout his stay. They took him on walks and he was a very tired boy when he came home!
Monica was amazing. I had to go for an out-of-town trip on short notice and the airline wouldn't take my dog, Koko for this trip. I had to scramble and find accomodations for him, as my neighbors were out of town. Koko is skittish around new, big dogs so I didn't want to risk putting him in a hotel or place with other dogs that he didn't know yet. I reached out to Monica since she had no other pets in the house. Monica was immediately responsive, we quickly coordinated schedules, did a brief visit beforehand, and Koko had a blast for a week at a gorgeous lakeside home in a quite nook of a neighborhood with no other dogs around. It was perfect, they took really good care of him, sending several photos of a happy stay that I got to share with family during my visit. During the stay Koko injured a nail (which has happened before, he gets excited at playtime which I suspect he got lots of). And Monica handled this really well; we confered over text a little, she sent regular updates and on her own initiative scrounghed up a recovery cone collar with her partner to help prevent over-licking. Koko recovered in record time. I didn't have to change my trip. I picked him up within days of the injury and he was happy as a clam, no sign of injury. In the past recovery took much longer, so I'm getting one of those cones. We could communicate over text or the rover app seemlessly. Monice was highly responsive throughout the entire trip. I'm very impressed with the whole experience. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend her. We hope to do this again for a future trip.
Monica was such a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Moses. She made us feel at ease with her daily updates and photos, and we knew that he was being well cared for. We could also tell when we picked him up that he absolutely loved her! Thank you so much Monica (and Shaun)! We really appreciate you both, and I'm sure Moses will be super excited to visit you again. :)
Monica was so great! I received updates and pictures while I was away, and my pups seemed happy and well cared for when I picked them up. When my plans changed after booking with her, she was flexible and super understanding. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to make sure their pets are in good hands!
Monica and her partner did a great job with my two dogs! She sent us pictures and updates periodically that set me at ease.

A typical day
I have a large backyard on a lake and lead a very active lifestyle! I walk dogs frequently around the lake and love playing fetch in the backyard
