Hi I'm Monica, mummy to Olly the Cockapoo and wife to Pete a proud Yorkshireman. Together, we are delighted to offer your special fur babies, our comfy home for when you have to take a break. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac, our home offers a secure garden and we are lucky to be having lots of fabulous country walks right outside our doorstep. Muddy walks are never a problem, we love nothing more that our doggies to be free and enjoy their daily walks. A fully equipped doggy shower in the garage, means that there are no restrictions on the amount of fun that can be had outdoors. As well as varied and exciting daily walks I will also engage your babies in fun and challenging mind games to combat boredom and spice up their daily routine. We often weave a beach day into our stays as well, of course this is season and weather dependent. We do not mind sharing our sofas and bed with your dog unless he/she is a shedder and then we would politely ask them (with a homemade doggy sausage) to use their own bed. Olly on the other hand, has no such restrictions and is more than happy to share his own beds. I work from home every day, so your baby will have plenty of human company and cuddles on tap. Myself and Olly would like to meet our doggy guests and their humans ahead of their stay if possible, just to make sure they like us (we will greet them with plenty more of those homemade treats to ensure we get a warm reception :) ), but I understand that sometimes life has a habit of throwing us curveballs and you might need care at the last minute, talk to us and we will always try our best to accommodate :) Routine is very important and so I will work with you on exactly what kind of care you would like me to provide, and will make sure that I follow it as closely as possible to help with the transition. Building a relationship based on trust with your precious baby is my number one priority, I work extra hard for that to happen and it's my aim to make sure your baby REALLY likes it with us, and would be happy to return again on his own accord. We are delighted to provide all of the complimentary treats and snacks for all the stays. Monica makes them herself, all 100% natural meat derived, calcium enriched with absolutely no fillers. They will enjoy elevenses mid morning, a little lunchtime munch, a mid afternoon chew and a just before bedtime snack is a must. I will discuss these in more detail and I need to mention that we are happy to accommodate raw feeders and kibble alike. My training style is positively led, I reward good habits and behaviour and completely ignore the less favourable ones, simple as that. I will never scold or shout at your dog, I do not believe it works and I wouldn't dream of doing it to my own baby. Rest assured, I will treat your own treasure with the same respect and shower them with as much love as they will allow me. Because much to my disappointment, I learned that not all of them are cuddlers :) And do not worry about missing a thing, I will inundate you with updates whether they are here for a day or eleven !!! photos and videos of your babes will be sent in abundance, so you can check and watch them enjoying their own good times away from home, while you enjoy yours. <3 One more thing, Because we strive to offer a high quality of care we have made the decision that your baby will be our only guest for the duration of his stay. We will of course accept 2 pets from the same household and sometimes we will accept some doggy day care guests, only pets we know well and have stayed with us before and only after we have asked for your agreement to this arrangement.
