Hi there! My name is Monica and I grew up in NYC with a bunch of pets! I have always been an animal lover, but just don't have the funds to have my own right now! Rover is a great way for me to spend time with pets while helping you out when you don't have the time yourself! I'm super patient and caring when it comes to animals, so I'll be sure to treat your pet with gentle love and care. I'm a regular cat and dog sitter in NY, so I have experience taking care of other people's pets (who are sometimes scared when their owner isn't around), so I'm confident I'll be able to give yours the attention it wants and needs!

Monica is truly an amazing sitter! My cat is a senior, so I was incredibly nervous about leaving him, but Monica completely put my mind at ease. Her frequent daily updates and wonderful communication about his routine and well-being made it so clear that he was in the best possible hands. When I came back to pick him up, it felt like he had just been on his own wonderful vacation—and he actually seemed a little sad that it was over so soon! I recommend Monica 1000% to anyone looking for a loving and attentive pet sitter.

Monica was incredible! Not only did she accept my request last minute and was such a pleasure to coordinate with but she sent me pictures and updates through out and I could tell me dog was really comfortable with her and he's a picky lil 90sguy, lol. I really hope she's always avaliable when I'm going away because I wouldn't want anyone else to watch Olu. Thanks again so much Monica!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Monica was absolutely amazing! I needed someone to watch all three of my cats on very short notice, and she kindly welcomed them into her home without hesitation. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient throughout the entire experience. Not only did she take wonderful care of them, but she also went above and beyond helping me get them all settled in — and later, packed up and ready to go home. All three of my cats decided to hide under her bed for a solid 15 minutes when it was time to leave, and she helped me gently coax him out without any stress or frustration. Monica was truly amazing! I felt so at ease knowing they were in her care. Highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter — especially for anxious or high-maintenance kitties like mine :)
Monica took such great care of Potter while I was away. It honestly felt like he was on his own little vacation. He seemed relaxed, happy, and clearly loving every moment. I could tell he was well looked after and given lots of attention. I really appreciated the updates and knowing he was in such good hands. Would absolutely book with her again!

Schedule
I am a freelance events producer with a small business, so I am always picking up projects to fill in the gaps of time where I'm not working. I offer services when I'm home and am able to offer me undivided attention to your pet.

I care for pets with a lot of care. It is a special treat for me to have a pet in my home, so I will spend most of my time with them. I am very particular about my home and privacy, so when in a client's home, I am very respectful and follow any rules they may present.
A typical day
I will go on walks anywhere in the neighborhood...I definitely prefer parks (there are a few right by me) to just walking on the street! But I know that sometimes there are more exciting things happening on the street that your pup might be more interested in, so we'll see how we're feeling!
