Some fun activities I enjoy doing with the pets I watch include: 1. Engaging in interactive play sessions: I love playing fetch with dogs, using toys like Frisbees or tennis balls. It's a great way to keep them active and entertained. I also enjoy playing interactive games with cats, using toys like feathers or string to stimulate their hunting instincts. 2. Going for walks and adventures: Exploring different neighborhoods or nearby parks with dogs is always a fun activity. It allows them to experience new sights, smells, and sounds, providing them with mental stimulation and exercise. I always ensure their safety by using appropriate leashes and keeping a watchful eye on them. 3. Setting up obstacle courses: For both dogs and cats, setting up obstacle courses can be a fun challenge. This could involve using items such as tunnels, hurdles, or even homemade ramps for the dogs to jump over. For cats, I might create a maze-like setup using cardboard boxes or cushions for them to explore and navigate. 4. Providing puzzle toys and treat-dispensing games: To keep pets mentally engaged, I enjoy using puzzle toys and treat-dispensing games. These toys require dogs to think and problem-solve to obtain their treats or solve the puzzle. For cats, I might hide treats around the house for them to find, encouraging their natural hunting behavior. 5. Offering grooming sessions: I find grooming sessions to be a bonding experience with both dogs and cats. Brushing their fur, giving them a gentle bath, and providing nail trims can help them relax and feel cared for. Plus, it helps keep them clean and healthy! 6. Monica is by far the BEST & most reliable cat sitter. Our cat is an escape artist & she kept him in our apartment and safe the entire month we were gone. She went above and beyond to send me hundreds of photos and videos while we were gone. Maintained a clean and safe area for the cats and when we came home our house was spotless. I’ve had 3 cat sitters in the past and Monica is by far the golden cat sitter. I’d hire her again in a heart beat & plan on doing so in the near future. I felt so at ease leaving Monica with my two cats!
