I have always had a passion for animals, and have spent most of my adult life pursuing a career in the animal world. My animal experience started out small, working at a healthy pet food store. I then began a Veterinary Assisting course while living in Arizona, and worked part-time at a dog boarding facility while I completed the program. After that, I moved back to Washington for good, and spent about 4 1/2 years working as a dog walker. I currently have over 5 years of experience working at a Veterinary Hospital, 3 of those years working as a Veterinary Assistant. I now have a vast array of experience in the animal world. I have a fair amount of experience with basic obedience training gained from working one on one with a behaviorist as a dog walker, to raising my own dog from puppyhood. I am well versed in administering medications, as well as routine preventive care such as trimming nails, ear cleanings and anal gland expressions.
