Hi, my name is Monica! I grew up with a deep love for animals. My affection for large dogs started with the Rottweilers I had during my childhood. Since then, my family has had a number of furry family members include a German Shepherd, three cats, four birds, and two hamsters, so my passion for animals has only grown over the years. Initially, I aspired to be a veterinarian and began my studies in that direction. However, I soon realized that my heart wouldn't be able to handle some of the emotional challenges of the profession, so I decided to pursue a different path. Despite this, my love for caring for animals remained strong. During college, I worked as a bather at a local grooming salon. This experience was incredibly rewarding, allowing me to interact with a variety of breeds and learn about their unique behaviors and needs. I also became skilled at handling and calming stressed pets, making me adept at ensuring a positive experience for all animals in my care. I'm flexible with my time and pricing to meet your needs. For example, one of my clients requested that I spend just 10 minutes to only feed and replenish water for their cat, and we agreed on a reduced price. If more or less time is needed, we can discuss and adjust rates accordingly. Additionally, I offer nail clipping services outside of Rover for $8 per pet. With my extensive background and genuine love for animals, I'm excited to provide the best possible care for your furry family members.
