Hi, my name is Monica! I grew up with a deep love for animals. My affection for large dogs started with the Rottweilers I had during my childhood. Since then, my family has had a number of furry family members include a German Shepherd, three cats, four birds, and two hamsters, so my passion for animals has only grown over the years. Initially, I aspired to be a veterinarian and began my studies in that direction. However, I soon realized that my heart wouldn't be able to handle some of the emotional challenges of the profession, so I decided to pursue a different path. Despite this, my love for caring for animals remained strong. During college, I worked as a bather at a local grooming salon. This experience was incredibly rewarding, allowing me to interact with a variety of breeds and learn about their unique behaviors and needs. I also became skilled at handling and calming stressed pets, making me adept at ensuring a positive experience for all animals in my care. I'm flexible with my time and pricing to meet your needs. For example, one of my clients requested that I spend just 10 minutes to only feed and replenish water for their cat, and we agreed on a reduced price. If more or less time is needed, we can discuss and adjust rates accordingly. Additionally, I offer nail clipping services outside of Rover for $8 per pet. With my extensive background and genuine love for animals, I'm excited to provide the best possible care for your furry family members. Whether it's a walk, a playdate, or just some quality time, I’m here to make sure your pets are happy, safe, and well-loved.

With the owners approval- I always make sure to get the dogs out for a walk around the neighborhood. In addition to time to run around their own yard free of leashes.

We've had Monica take care of our dogs for two different trips and both times she did a great job. She was punctual for both morning and evening walks and our dogs loved her.
Monica took great care of our dogs while we were out of town. She was very punctual and the dogs loved her. We have some webcams to keep an eye on the doggies when we are out and they were always excited when Monica arrived.

Schedule
I am currently a grad student so my availability is limited but I always try to make time to help my clients with their pet care. I am free in the evenings on weekdays and all day weekends.
