A loving home away from home
I’m an experienced, caring and safety conscious dog minder and have lived with and taken care of dogs most of my life. I worked closely with my own dog’s breeder through her 3 litters - her last litter I was the solo midwife. Mia has graduated out of the breeding program and we now look forward to hosting pup friends through Rover. I’m a keen observer of dog behaviours and my family gets a lot of joy in providing a happy, safe and caring home environment for new friends. I work from home 100% so your dog will have lots of company, play time and several walks geared to their energy level. I’ve taken care of many older dogs and special needs pups and am happy to administer medications per your instructions. We live near trails and parks and have a small backyard that backs onto the woods - so lots of squirrels to watch and outing options to suit energy levels. Whether for a day or a few weeks we look forward to getting to know your little one and making them feel part of the family.

Mona took great care of my 14-year-old French bulldog. She was very proactive with pictures and regular updates, as well as answering my many questions. Mona was amazing with our two older pups. We are always nervous leaving them and we left them with Mona for 5 days. Mona provided great care. Mona has been taking great care of my senior dog over the last few months and I can tell that he is being well looked after. He loves going over there and gets along well with her dog Mia. It’s a comfort to know that he is doing well when I am far away for so long

This was our first experience with Rover, and Mona exceeded our expectations. She kept us updated throughout our pup's stay, and sent pictures to show us how much fun he was having on his daily walks at the doggy park! He had a great time with her dog, Mia. Schedule
I take pups out for morning, lunchtime and evening walks, all on leash. In between I sometimes work away at my desk with a little one on my lap or nearby on a dog ‘couch’. For short errands it’ll monitor my ring camera to make sure your pup is happy at home with my Labradoodle, Mia.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be part of the family. I’m careful to not let dogs off-leash unless we're within a fenced-in yard. Your dog will get at least 3 walks a day for 10-45 minutes, depending on their stamina. I monitor mealtimes to ensure peaceful eating. Please let me know how they are when left with a buddy for short periods.
Pets
A typical day
During the day I’ll give your dog mini missions - hiding toys for them to retrieve - or training sessions to add simple commands to their repertoire. I think this helps them bond with humans and mature in their self-control, and it helps them settle into their temporary family. Their day will include walks at 8:30, noonish, and after dinner. They’ll get plenty of cuddles and playtime. Mia is happy sharing her toys, is quick to bond and is a calming influence.
