Pet care experience

One goal, one passion - quality pet care.

I am a student at Nottingham Trent University, currently studying BSc Animal Biology. I have 8 years of experience volunteering and working in veterinary, kennel/cattery, and education environments. Through my time at NTU, I have undertaken industry approved and regulated training on the handling, husbandry, care, and welfare of birds, reptiles, small mammals, rabbits, cats, and dogs. I have been taking care of animals since I was a young child - too young to remember the age! I have taken care of rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, cats, and dogs within my own household. I have supported my parents, friends, family, and grandparents with daycare, pet sitting, and dog training needs. As a member of The Guild of Dog Trainers and having studied under an ACPO/NPCC police dog handler and instructor, I understand the highest standards of training within the UK and aim to bring this into domestic training and service arenas. I am currently in my summer break between years 2 and 3 of my undergraduate degree. I am working an office job full-time on weekdays, but I am available in the evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Once I return to study, I will still be available on a part-time basis, across weekends, and full-time during university holidays. I would also be happy to discuss pet sitting and care around my lectures. I have 3 years of experience working in the security industry, so your pet and home safety are very important to me. I provide daily reports for each pet, covering basic health and husbandry, any observations or concerns, and any additional notes needed. I have onboarding paperwork to ensure that I have all the information that is needed to give your pet(s) the best care, including feeding schedules, grooming notes, and medication administration and logs. If there is no enclosed, safe space for outdoor time with your dogs, I will ensure that they get more walks and time outside. I have long-line leads so that your dog(s) can have free run and roam while remaining safe, especially if there are any issues with recall. I have a full range of equipment to ensure that any transport in my car meets legal requirements, and car insurance and care are always maintained.

I cannot recommend Molly highly enough. I couldn't have gone on holiday for a week and left my beloved 1 year old cockapoo with anyone else (I've only ever left him for one night before so it was a big deal for me). Molly is extremely knowledgeable - studying animal behaviour at University as well as being an experienced Dog Trainer but it's more than that. She has an innate love and understanding of animals and I knew my boy would be as loved and cared for (in fact, more so!) than if I'd been at home with him. She made meticulous notes in our consultation meeting before I went away, asked a lot of questions and just clicked with my dog. Whilst away, Molly sent me updates and photos and I could completely relax. She is also qualified in First aid for animals and is highly professional so I had complete peace of mind. I would recommend Molly without hesitation and I will definitely use her in the future.

Molly completed an 8 month attachment with my company. She undertook all aspects of behavioural, environmental and working dog assessments. Afterward, she was inducted within the guild of dog trainers as a trainer and has since completed a university degree in animal science. She is caring, compassionate and has comprehensive up-to-date modern training techniques, mix this with enthusiasm and a dedication to canine learning and you know your pet will be in good hands.
