Pet care experience

Loving every pet like my own!

As a full time Veterinary Technician, caring for animals is my life. I’ve been working professionally with animals for 6 years. I started my journey as a bather for PetSmart where I stayed for three years building and enjoying the relationships I have built. I then transferred to Petco to work as a dog trainer, where I loved the work I was doing and the knowledge I had gained but knew it was time to move on. I then managed a farm for a year and a half, where I consistently took care of animals, anywhere from goats to chickens. While that was an exciting part of my life I knew I had wanted to do something medical to help the animals. Where I found myself in a position to start working at a veterinary hospital. Everyday I get to go to work knowing have made and will continue to make a difference in so many lives. Animals are what keeps people happy and getting to help people understand the connection they offer is truly rewarding.

This is our first time using Rover and we connected with Molly due to her experience. She made daily visits to provide medication to one of our two cats. I looked forward to the updates and photos. I felt our cats were very taken care of. Thank you Molly!

My husband and I always look forward to hearing Molly’s visit notes when we’re away. We feel an extra level of security knowing she’s an experienced veterinary professional. She’s been extremely reliable for us as our regular cay sitter, a great communicator, and we highly recommend her!

I had to leave town for a day and was delayed getting back from a funeral, but Molly was incredibly understanding and stayed an extra 30 minutes to ensure my fur babies were well taken care of. They absolutely adore her, and I couldn’t have asked for a more dependable and caring dog sitter. Thank you so much, Molly!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I do currently work full time at the veterinary hospital, while they can be long hours I do have a long break during the afternoon period to do stop ins, especially for pets who need a little more monitoring.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

Being able to take care of a pet in their environment and the way their owner does is very beneficial to the pet. While boarding facilities are helpful, I understand that some animals (especially cats) are built better to stay in their own environment!

Pets

A typical day

Being able to fit to every dog or cats lifestyle is a necessity when it comes to caring for them. Each and every pet is different than the next and understanding their needs are important.

16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs

Being a veterinary technician has given the skill set to do more in helping animals at home. I love working with special needs animals who would otherwise have difficulty finding someone fit for their needs.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
