We left Lola, our 14-year-old dog, with sitter. Communication during the stay was primarily a few notes and photos, the only thing she mentioned negative, in chat and at pickup, was that Lola “seemed lost” when she was outside. She never raised any concern or incident with us directly. Over the weekend, we learned through Rover that a complaint and an incident had been opened during the stay, with no details provided. When Lola came home she had an eye infection that wasn’t present at drop off and had chewed hair off her elbow, our vet diagnosed dermatitis and prescribed medication, a $250 visit. Because no one told us what the incident was, we couldn’t tell whether her condition was related, which is why we took her in. Our vet even had to call Rover herself to try to get details. I’m not assuming the worst about the cause. But other owners should know that we got very little proactive communication from the sitter, and Lola came home in worse shape than she left. Here we are for a week without any foundation, nor any mention that something had happened, and Rover led the communication. It would have been nice to have been told, and even now we have 0 context.

Super awesome- literally the 1st person my pups didn't bark at 😲. In less than a hour my other 2 fearful pups were within a foot of her! Its like the could sense she was safe. From speaking to her it was more than obvious the knowledge and skill she has in pup training. Very happy I found her.she is exactly what is needed for our pack right now!
