Pet care experience
Pre-Vet Petsitter
My name is Molly and I am a vet assistant that will be going to vet school in the January! I have worked as a kennel assistant at Dogwood Acres and I have dogs of my own. I have worked with small and large dogs, as well as dog-aggressive dogs. I have also house-sat cats before. I care for my 2 reptiles and fish and I grew up on a small farm with goats, sheep, chickens, and more assorted pets. With my knowledge of the vet field and background in animal care, I will do everything I can to make your pet comfortable and happy <3

Ratings and reviews
Molly was amazing! She was so attentive and thorough in her communication and sent wonderful updates throughout Chinook’s stay. I had peace of mind knowing he was in caring hands, and Molly’s background in veterinary care gave me even greater ease! I highly recommend Molly— she is one of the best Rover experiences I’ve ever had.

Molly was great! Kept us up to date on what our dogs were doing and went above and beyond the average dog sitting service. 11/10 recommend.

Molly is a wonderful caring dog sitter. She has a large fenced yard for play, fetch and running around with her little Jack Russell, Jane. She was great with communication and photos. Ripley had a good time and will be back!

I have a dog that loves people but dislikes all other animals. She is no doubt a difficult dog. Before Molly, she had to be kenneled, which I didn't love doing. I tried several other dog sitters and it was a disaster. I even had to leave my vacation early once because the sitter let her loose w another dog. Molly gets animals, their behavior, requirements and fully understands the seriousness of my situation. She is the ONLY pet sitter I allow to watch my dog. It also helps that she is studying to be a Veterinarian, has her degree in Marine Biology and has access to veterinary advice and care from her coworkers should a question arise. She is also a very friendly, honest and a reliable young lady, who also loves plants, so if you need those watered or cared for as well she has a great green thumb!
Molly watched my Lab and Labradoodle, one being a tripaw who requires assistance navigating stairs. This was my first time leaving Winston since his surgery. Molly sent me pictures and videos, which brought a smile to my face and instilled confidence that my boys were in capable hands. I can attest that Molly genuinely cares for animals and treats them with the same affection as if they were her own. Anyone who meets Molly is immediately drawn to her warm demeanor, almost as much as my dogs are. I intend to utilize Molly's services again and can assure you that your pet will receive exceptional care and affection.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am working as a vet assistant as I wait for vet school to start. I work Monday-Thursday. I occasionally will do a half day on Saturday too :)

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
If boarding: I have a dog named Jane who gets along with other dogs and loves people! She is tentative around large dogs but should not be an issue. There is a doggy door to a fenced yard and pool, water available throughout the day, and I will be around to keep an eye on them (unless working, then I will be home in mornings and evenings). One of my family members is always home, your pet will not be alone. I’ll make sure they’re eating, sleeping, getting medication as needed, and having normal potty breaks. I will update you with daily photos and call in case of any abnormalities or emergencies. If dropping in or housesitting: When going over to your home I will make sure that your pet is eating, having normal potty breaks, getting medication as needed, and that the house is in good condition after your pet has been left alone. I am willing to water plants, feed fish and reptiles, and do other general housesitting tasks as well. I will send updates at least once a day with photos and call in case of any odd behavior or emergencies.

In the summer we can walk in the park, swim in the pool, go to the beach, and play fetch in the yard! In the winter we can play in the snow, take a walk in the woods, stay cozy by the fire, and play tug inside. We have plenty of toys to go around! Your pet will always have something to do, just let me know their favorite activities!
