Availability

My current availability is flexible, which allows me to accommodate a variety of schedules for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I love being able to care for pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, where they can maintain their normal feeding schedule, walks, bedtime routine, and favorite comforts while their family is away. I understand that pets don’t operate on a convenient 9–5 schedule, so I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine and determine what works best for the both of us. I may also be available for weekends, holidays, and some last-minute requests. Feel free to reach out even if you’re unsure whether your dates or schedule will work!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I take the responsibility of being trusted with both your pet and your home very seriously. I will follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, and make sure I understand any medications, feeding instructions, behavioral concerns, household rules, or safety precautions before you leave. I’m also respectful of your home and privacy. I’ll leave your space the way I found it, make sure doors and gates are secured, and keep you updated while you’re away. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you can see how your furry family member is doing. Most importantly, I won’t assume I know your pet better than you do. You know them best, and I want to learn what makes them feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

Information Molly O. would like to know about your pet

Tell me everything! The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them and keep their routine feeling as normal as possible. I’d love to know about their feeding and potty schedule, favorite activities, medications, sleeping habits, commands, favorite toys and treats, and all of their little quirks. Please also let me know about anything that could affect their safety or comfort, including allergies, medical needs, escape tendencies, resource guarding, food aggression, fears, separation anxiety, or reactivity toward people or other animals. And don’t worry about giving me “too much” information! I’d much rather know something that seems insignificant than miss something that’s important to your pet. You know them best!

A typical day

There really isn’t one “typical day” because I tailor my care to the pet in front of me! My goal is to keep their day as close to their normal routine as possible while adding plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment along the way. For an active dog, that might mean walks, backyard play, fetch, enrichment activities, or lots of time outside. For a senior pup, shy pet, or professional couch potato, it might mean a slower pace, potty breaks, snuggles, and some good company. Cats are treated according to their preferences too, whether that means playtime and attention or simply respecting the judgmental stare from across the room until I’ve earned their approval. 😂 I’ll follow your instructions regarding walks, feeding, treats, medications, crates, furniture, and any other household routines. My job isn’t to change the way you care for your pet, it’s to step into your routine and keep things familiar until you’re home again.

Pet care experience

Animals have always held a very special place in my heart, and I know they aren’t “just pets” - they’re family. When you trust someone else to care for them, you deserve to feel confident knowing they’re safe, comfortable, loved, and in good hands. I’ve been surrounded by animals for much of my life, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to care for pets belonging to friends, family, neighbors, and Rover clients. Those experiences have taught me that good pet care is often about paying attention to the little things and getting to know each animal as an individual. As a German Shepherd owner myself, I’m also comfortable with large dogs and understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, boundaries, and needs. Every animal is different. Some want to be my best friend immediately, while others need patience, space, and time to feel comfortable. I’m happy to meet them wherever they are. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being cared for with the same patience, affection, and attention I’d want for my own.

Molly was great! We’ve got two senior kitties- one that needs twice daily medication- and Molly took good care of them while we were away. We were able to rest easy knowing they were in good hands.

We contacted Molly last minute as another sitter canceled and she was wonderful with immediate contact and initial meeting set up. Our dogs loved her and everything went very well. She stayed in contact with us during our time away. I will definitely be asking for her help again as needed. It was so great to enjoy our vacation knowing our pups were so well cared for.

Molly was really patient with our anxious dog but got him to warm up.
