I live in an apartment in New York, that is mostly empty, I do not have a backyard, but there is a large area of space around here on campus that is great for walks! I can assure you your dog will get lots of love, walks, & depending on your dog’s preferences, whether it’s playing fetch, or just relaxing with your dog. I’ll be sure your dog spends time doing what they enjoy! They’ll definitely be sure to get lots of love, and I’ll be very attentive to them and their needs! Dogs are family members, and I will be sure to treat them as if they were mine.

Let me know your dog’s favorite activities, and other things they love! I’m super flexible with dogs, I just ask you let me know anything important ahead of time such as feeding schedule & amount, treat restrictions, etc..
A typical day
I’ll take your dog on walks out in different areas as Rochester has plenty of hidden gems great for walking, which can include around your neighborhood, Cobbs Hill, Mendon Ponds, and many other locations! If your dog loves fetch, I'd be happy to play some fetch with your dogs as well! If your dog is more on the chill side, then we’ll chill inside being attentive to them, or take them on some short walks! If it’s hot outside, I’ll be sure to bring my portable water bowl and some water to make sure your dog is staying hydrated on walks! :) Let me know anything your dog loves to do, and I'd be happy to make sure we do that! Your dog's happiness and comfort is a priority of mine!

Pet care experience
I’ve had experience around a variety of dogs while growing up! I grew up with 2 labs & a yorkie! My brother has a deaf Australian Shepard (double merle), and my other brother has a Border Collie x German Shepherd & a Yorkie x Chihuahua. My parents have a Lab! I currently have my own dog, a golden retriever! I have dog sat for friends and family members prior to setting up Rover, and is something I really love doing. I am open to a variety of breeds, and have a special place in my heart for dogs! I’m currently a college student and am back in the home for summer break!
