Molly can care for
Availability
This summer, I’ll be in classes from 10–5, but I’m fully available for morning and evening care. For pet‑sitting, I stop by in the morning for a shorter visit, then spend extended time with your pets after class for enrichment, walks, and companionship. For dog‑walking, I’m available after 5:30 PM and in the mornings between 7:30-9 AM.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m comfortable supporting pets with special requirements, including training, potty training, and medications. I can crate at night if preferred or allow free‑roam based on your pet’s routine. If your dog isn’t comfortable on walks, I’m happy to provide yard play or indoor enrichment instead. During sits, I typically give at least one 30‑minute walk a day, often longer when appropriate. For cats, I offer enrichment tailored to their personality — playtime, affection, or quiet companionship if they prefer space. When owners are comfortable, I also enjoy taking dogs on hikes and using a secure harness buckle in the car. While I can’t guarantee a hike every stay, I always aim to include at least one long enrichment walk or adventure during my time with your pet.
Information Molly J. would like to know about your pet
Before booking, I like to know anything that helps me keep your pet safe and comfortable. This includes any reactivity such as resource guarding, fence reactivity, or dog/animal aggression. I also need to know about any medical conditions, special needs, or medications. For puppies, please share their potty‑training routine and vaccination status. If they aren’t fully vaccinated yet, I’ll follow your preferred indoor potty setup (pads, schedule, etc.). For senior or sensitive dogs, let me know about any sore spots or areas they don’t like to be touched so I can handle them gently. For cats, I also need to know about medical needs, behavior concerns, aggression, or any special routines so I can make sure they feel safe and supported. I have a strict safety policy: I never allow client dogs to meet or interact with other dogs or pets during my care, with no exceptions. On walks, I don’t allow dogs to interact with strangers unless you’ve told me ahead of time that your dog is extremely people‑friendly. If I’m not informed otherwise, I’ll assume you prefer your dog not to be approached or pet by others to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes a balance of exercise, enrichment, and downtime. I take dogs on at least one 30‑minute walk, with extra playtime using their favorite toys. I give plenty of affection and calm rest breaks so they feel comfortable and relaxed. If owners approve ahead of time, I love taking dogs on hikes or small field trips for extra enrichment. I can also practice any tricks or training cues your pet already knows to help reinforce good habits.

Pet care experience
I’m a pre‑vet student with two years of hands‑on experience working in dog kennels and boarding facilities. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, and pets who need special care. I also have experience with timid, reactive, or nervous animals and always move at their pace. Whether it’s a big dog who loves long walks or a small pup who needs gentle handling, I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust in every visit.
