We walk our own dog Axl 3-4 times a day, so your dog would be welcome to walk each time, or less if desired. We also love going to the park or on a weekend adventure. With your permission, we would take your dog along with us.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in backyard, so there is no issue about a dog getting out. Our dog, Axl, is allowed to sit on all furniture, but does not sleep in our beds. Gary works from home each day, so there is always someone present in the house. I work from home 1-2 days a week, so on those days, two people are home. We want to make sure that all dogs and owners are comfortable with us and our home. That is why we require a meet and greet before each booked visit for new dogs.

Information Molly & Gary H. would like to know about your pet
The more information about a dog, the better. What are his/her eating habits? Sleeping patterns? Fears and how to calm the dog. Pooping schedule. How the dog responds to other animals it might encounter on walks (cats, rabbits, squirrels)? If the dog has separation anxiety or is a loner.
A typical day
Axl is walked three times a day, for about 30-45 minutes each. We take him to parks to play fetch, and often do it in our backyard which is big enough for him to run.

Pet care experience
We have taken care of dogs most of our adult lives. We go on several walks a day with our own dog, Axl. We love adventures on the weekends with trips to DC and Virginia state parks. We greatly enjoy exploring the DMV area. We have a dog and enjoy being dog owners! Gary works at home full-time so he is always at home. I work at home one to two days a week. We have a fenced in backyard, in a neighborhood that’s terrific for dog walking. There are parks nearby too. We are not smokers and there are no children in the house. WE DO REQUIRE A MEET AND GREET so we will know that you, your dog and our own dog, Axl, are comfortable with the arrangement. With that being said, if you need a quick booking, we are not the sitters for you.
Reviews

Molly, Gary, and Axl are the absolute best! They always take such great care of Taffy and provide such excellent communication! Taffy can't wait to come back to play with Axl!

Molly and Gary were absolutely wonderful! They took excellent care of Taffy and provided regular photo updates that gave us so much peace of mind! They clearly have a great deal of experience with dogs of all personalities and needs and we’re incredibly grateful to have found them! Taffy had such an amazing time playing with Axl and will be so excited to go back again!

Molly and Gary are great. This was the second time Darcey stayed with them, and she had such a nice time!! Lots of walks and time in the yard. They sent daily updates and were super flexible when our plans changed due to winter weather. Grateful to have found them!

Roxy loves staying over!
