Pet care experience

Attentive, Active, Pet-Loving Mom

Hi! I’m Molly — a Duluth local, mom of two, and lifelong dog lover. I know how important it is to feel completely at ease when someone else is caring for your pet. They’re family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own — with patience, structure, warmth, and lots of attention. I work primarily from home, which means your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’m used to managing routines (kids + life 😅), so feeding schedules, medication timing, crate routines, and special instructions are absolutely welcome. I also have a 4- and 7-year-old who absolutely love dogs and have grown up around them. They are gentle, respectful, and understand boundaries — but because of that, I do require that any dog in my care is comfortable around children. If your pup enjoys being part of a family environment with lots of love (and the occasional extra belly rub from small humans), they’ll feel right at home here. We spend a lot of time outside — neighborhood walks, time in the yard, and enjoying all the fresh air Duluth has to offer. If your dog loves movement and stimulation, they’ll fit right in. If they’re more of a couch-and-cuddles type, I’m equally happy to match their pace.

Molly is fantastic!!! Very attentive and sweet with my dog. Made me very comfortable leaving my baby with someone else as I knew he was in good hands. He has some temperament issues sometimes so I need a great person I can trust with him. I had zero concerns of leaving him with Molly. She was very flexible and punctual with lot walking schedule. She even picked up packages from my doorstep! Will definitely continue booking with Molly!

Molly has a deep love and respect for all animals. This is something that stood out to me from the first time I met her. Molly is compassionate, caring and patient with all animals. She and Tom are always my first choice when we travel. I highly recommend them for all of your pet care needs!

Molly has been our puppy sitter for the past 2 years. From small weekends away, to trips oversea's, I always feel at ease when Molly is watching our pup Chewy. Last year we did a trip to Iceland and Chewy not only had an ear infection but was also having stomach issues. I was so please to come home to a healthy pup. Molly was diligent about giving Chewy his meds and going the extra mile to keep us updated on his progress. Without Molly I wouldn't have been able to relax on vacation like I was with her services. You know its a great fit when your dog is just as excited to see her! We can't recommend Molly enough!

Schedule

Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work primarily from home, so I’m able to provide consistent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and attention throughout the day — not just mornings and evenings. Our family already has a rhythm built around school drop-offs, outdoor time, and evenings at home, which makes it easy to incorporate regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and quiet rest periods. I’m very comfortable following a dog’s existing routine so they feel secure and settled while you’re away. Weekends are typically slower and home-centered for us, which allows for even more engagement, walks, and time outside. Your dog wouldn’t be an “add-on” to our week — they’d be part of our normal flow.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my home, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled as quickly as possible. I follow their usual feeding schedule, potty routine, crate preferences, and any specific instructions you provide. I keep the environment calm, clean, and supervised, with plenty of outdoor time and play balanced with rest. Because I have children, safety is always a top priority. Dogs are never left unattended with kids, and I only accept pets who are comfortable in a family environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m equally respectful and detail-oriented. I stick closely to your established routine so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I’m mindful of your space, keep things tidy, and provide consistent updates with photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. My goal is for you to return to a happy, well-cared-for pet and a home just as you left it.

A typical day

Fun will depend on your dog’s personality and energy level! For active pups, I love neighborhood walks, exploring local trails, playing fetch in the yard, and structured play sessions to burn off energy in a healthy way. We spend a lot of time outside as a family, so dogs who enjoy fresh air and movement will have plenty of opportunities for it. For more laid-back dogs, I’m just as happy with slower walks, sniff breaks, puzzle toys, and cozy downtime. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, so I like incorporating enrichment activities when appropriate. And of course — plenty of belly rubs, ear scratches, and one-on-one attention are always included. I try to match each dog’s routine and comfort level so they have fun without feeling overwhelmed.

Before caring for your pet, I like to know as much as possible about their routine, temperament, and preferences. Things that are especially helpful: • How they do around children • Energy level and typical daily schedule • Feeding routine and dietary restrictions • Any medications or health concerns • Crate training or sleep preferences • Behavioral triggers (separation anxiety, resource guarding, leash reactivity, etc.) • How they interact with other dogs • Commands they know and how you reinforce them The more I understand about your dog’s personality and needs, the better I can make their time away from you feel safe, familiar, and stress-free.
