Pet care experience

Reliable Student/Flexible Schedule

I volunteer at the Colonial Capital Humane Society, where my mom works, primarily in the cattery caring for cats with special needs, young kittens, and seniors. This experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior and taught me patience and compassion for animals of all ages and personalities. I also cared for a friend's cat for three months while she traveled internationally, maintaining a consistent routine and providing attentive daily care. While cats hold a special place in my heart, I grew up with dogs, helping raise three yellow labs and pet-sitting for family and friends, so I'm comfortable and confident with animals of any kind. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. Whether it's an energetic puppy, a senior pet, or an animal needing extra care, I'm committed to providing safe, dependable, and personalized attention.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in my client’s home by keeping their routines consistent and comfortable. Punctuality and dependability are very important to me, and I understand the trust that comes with caring for someone’s pet. I follow all owner instructions, including feeding, walks, medications, and playtime, while providing a safe and loving environment. I am also available for overnight and extended care, ensuring pets receive attention, companionship, and reliable care while their owners are away.

My dear cat, Ambrose, had the privilege of staying with Molly for almost 2 months earlier this year while I was away traveling. She absolutely exceeded my expectations for caring for my sweet baby. Though it was so challenging to leave my pet for such an extended amount of time, my mind was at ease knowing that he was in great hands the entire time. She made sure Ambrose was comfortable, happy, well-fed, and loved. She adapted her home to become a space for him to play and explore, which he did! If I ever had any questions about his current wellbeing, she was quick to communicate with me and always provided photos and videos of him to keep me updated. She made sure Ambrose got lots of quality snuggle time while he was in her care and I never once doubted that he wasn't safe and sound! I would choose Molly again and again to watch over him. I trust her fully and would not put all of that trust in just any regular person--I only accept the best for my fur baby!

As a full-time interior design student at Cape Fear Community College I have a flexible schedule with availability on mornings, evenings, and weekends. This allows me to easily provide daytime care, overnight stays, and house sitting while still maintaining my school responsibilities. I’m able to give pets the attention, companionship, and consistent care they need throughout the day.
