I delight in animals!
I’ve been caring for and training animals since I was a child going to “vet” classes in middle school, and later working at a dog rescue and vet clinics. I have experience working with service dogs in training, older dogs, puppies, and dogs who have had bad experiences with humans. I’m firm but kind, creating an environment for pets that lets them thrive within good boundaries. I take my dog and others’ to creeks, hikes, and out to play in the yard. If they’re among the slower of the four-legged pals, they can opt to snooze on the couch (or dog bed!) all day long. Your pet will be safe and have a blast. I will request verbal confirmation from pet owners that their dogs are up to date on flea and tick prevention if coming from a flea or tick prone area. I have two dogs of my own and ask that no dog aggressive dogs come to stay with me. I can’t currently accept boarding requests more than one month out, but feel free to reach out if you’d like and perhaps I’ll be able to make an exception!

Molly was amazing! She communicated quickly and frequently, offered flexibility for drop off and met us halfway. She did a wonderful job with our large dog. She took Charlie on a hike with her dogs and used a GPS tracker once she trusted him on his recall. He was happy and relaxed with her at pickup. :)
Molly was very friendly and helpful in watching over my pup while we visited the national parks around Moab. Molly took my pup, along with her adorable pups, on hikes and to the dog park. It made my trip much more enjoyable knowing my pup was in good hands, amongst a friendly pack, and well exercised by the end of the day. Thanks Molly!
Molly was able to take care of our girl on a rather short notice while we adventured in Moab. She was absolutely great and I could tell our dog had a blast spending the day with her. Definitely recommend!
Our dog had a great time hanging out and hiking with Molly and her dogs. Beautiful photos of a fun water hike- great for a hot day. I think our dog had a better day than the rest of his family! Great communication and happy dog. Will definitely have Molly watch our dogs again next time we are in the area
Molly was the biggest blessings of my entire trip to Moab. I was doing van life and spending my days out adventuring, and knowing my little man was with her, comfortable and so well cared for gave me the freedom to actually enjoy every adventure without worrying about little man exerting himself! She ended up being especially important because the heat was a lot for him, and having a place with AC where he could relax and cool down was something I didn’t realize we would need as much as we did. Molly went above and beyond to make sure he was loved on big time while I was out exploring. They even went on little hikes! Couldn’t possibly recommend Molly more 🏜️
Molly is responsive and a great communicator. My dogs had a great time with her and I appreciate the fact she took them on hikes and gave them a chance to socialize. It was nice to know my dogs were well taken care of while I enjoyed the trails of Moab.

Schedule
I have a variable work schedule that can be flexible in emergencies to make sure the stay is smooth. Most of my weekends are spent doing chores in the house with the dogs outside, or hiking/being outside with my dog and friends.

Safety, trust & environment
My house is just south of downtown Moab where there’s less commotion. Being away from the traffic and noise of town, pets seem to feel more at ease even if in a new environment. We have a fenced area in the backyard, and I spend time in the garden with the dogs so they can have time with free time to sniff and play in a larger area as well. I am comfortable crating pets inside, or leaving them out in the house if you are confident your pet won’t chew things up.

A typical day
I like to take dogs on hikes, especially on the trail behind my house! I feel comfortable with dogs either on or off leash, pullers, slow dogs, fast dogs, chunky dogs… show me what you’ve got! I’ve also got brain puzzles for dogs if mental stimulation is more their jam. I sometimes take my dog to the dog park and generally love to hang out with them. Mine is allowed on the couch and bed but I can keep yours off if those are your rules.
