I have a variable work schedule that can be flexible in emergencies to make sure the stay is smooth. Most of my weekends are spent doing chores in the house with the dogs outside, or hiking/being outside with my dog and friends.

Safety, trust & environment
My house is just south of downtown Moab where there’s less commotion. Being away from the traffic and noise of town, pets seem to feel more at ease even if in a new environment. We have a fenced area in the backyard, and I spend time in the garden with the dogs so they can have time with free time to sniff and play in a larger area as well. I am comfortable crating pets inside, or leaving them out in the house if you are confident your pet won’t chew things up.

Information Molly C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has behavioral or medical needs!! I want to be sure that I can give them what they need and make sure everybody’s happy.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on hikes, especially on the trail behind my house! I feel comfortable with dogs either on or off leash, pullers, slow dogs, fast dogs, chunky dogs… show me what you’ve got! I’ve also got brain puzzles for dogs if mental stimulation is more their jam. I sometimes take my dog to the dog park and generally love to hang out with them. Mine is allowed on the couch and bed but I can keep yours off if those are your rules.

Pets
I delight in animals!
Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for and training animals since I was a child going to “vet” classes in middle school, and later working at a dog rescue and vet clinics. I have experience working with service dogs in training, older dogs, puppies, and dogs who have had bad experiences with humans. I’m firm but kind, creating an environment for pets that lets them thrive within good boundaries. I take my dog and others’ to creeks, hikes, and out to play in the yard. If they’re among the slower of the four-legged pals, they can opt to snooze on the couch (or dog bed!) all day long. Your pet will be safe and have a blast. I will request verbal confirmation from pet owners that their dogs are up to date on flea and tick prevention if coming from a flea or tick prone area. I have two dogs of my own and ask that no dog aggressive dogs come to stay with me. I can’t currently accept boarding requests more than one month out, but feel free to reach out if you’d like and perhaps I’ll be able to make an exception!
Reviews

Molly was great! Very accommodating with my loose schedule and took Duncan on lots of adventures.

Molly was fantastic. Got Moose out for a good walk and explore both days. Excellent communication even sending pictures. Thanks Molly

Our boys had so much fun with Molly. She sent so many pictures of them out hiking and swimming. So great! Our older guys needs meds and she let us know when he took the and how he did. We highly recommend Molly! Can’t thank her enough.

It was nerve racking to drop my pup off for an overnight and long day. Molly did a great job of soothing this dogmama. Will definitely book with her again
