I’ve been a cat person for as long as I can remember and know that every cat has their own unique personality, routine and boundaries. I currently have two house cats of my own, so I’m used to everything from feeding and fresh water to litter trays, playtime, administering medicine, cuddles (when they’re in the mood!) and recognising when they simply want their own space. I know how important it is to leave your cats with someone you trust while you’re away, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. Whether your cat is confident and playful or shy and prefers a quiet companion, I’m happy to adapt to their needs to help them feel safe, comfortable and loved until you’re home.

I believe cats are happiest in their own familiar environment, so I always aim to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter trays, and plenty of attention based on their personality. Whether they love to play, enjoy a fuss, or prefer a quiet companion, I’m happy to let them set the pace. I’ll also keep an eye on their general wellbeing and send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well looked after.

Mollie is such a lovely, kind and caring sitter! She kept me updated after every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away, and she took such wonderful care of Coco. It was really clear how much care and attention she gave him. She even ran the vacuum around the apartment during her last visit, which was incredibly thoughtful and such a lovely surprise to come home to. Communication with Mollie was always smooth, easy and reassuring. I’m so grateful for everything she did for Coco and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!
Cannot recommend Mollie enough! Mollie looked after my cat, Joey, for a week while I was away on holiday, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Before I left, Mollie came to the house to meet Joey and took the time to find out everything she needed to know to make sure he was properly cared for. While I was away, Mollie sent me regular updates, including photos, videos and messages. It was so lovely to see how well Joey was being looked after and how happy and settled he was, especially with all the cuddles he was getting! I came back home to find a happy cat, a clean house and some milk in the fridge. These extra touches just showed how much Mollie genuinely cares about the cats she is looking after and her client’s experience. Mollie took such wonderful care of Joey, and it made such a difference being able to relax and enjoy my holiday knowing he was in safe and caring hands. I would absolutely recommend Mollie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their cat. Thank you so much, Mollie!

Schedule
I work full-time Monday to Friday (8am-4pm) in central Halifax, which means I’m available for morning visits before work, evening visits after work, and have full flexibility on weekends. I can provide reliable, consistent care around your cat’s usual routine, whether that’s feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, medication (if required), or simply keeping them company while you’re away.

- Before our first visit, I’d love to get to know your cat a little better. Please let me know about their routine, favourite treats and toys, any likes or dislikes, quirks, hiding spots, medical needs, dietary requirements, or behaviours I should be aware of. The more I know about their personality and what makes them feel comfortable, the better I can tailor my visits and give them the care they’re used to.
