I am a dog lover and had dogs growing up, I currently have 2 very busy border collies and an Australian shepherd. I have rescued and helped vet check and build confidence with many different breeds over the last 8 years, including livestock guardian breeds, and herding breeds. I love to do pack walks, beach visits and leashed walks. I have dealt with reactivity, dogs with bite histories and I am comfortable feeding whatever you choose to feed your dogs (including raw fed). I may be able to accommodate dogs in my home for boarding purposes— but please contact me directly so I can see if it will be possible. I am comfortable with all breeds and all sizes of dog. I am open to seniors, and puppies (even in their baby t-rex stage).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard, in a home with three other dogs. Two of them are crated when unattended but all of them sleep in the beds at night. Your dog is welcome to the bed, the couch, or a crate! I use a crate in the car for transport, however I also have Kurgo Seatbelts for dogs but a harness will be required.

We had the pleasure of having Moira watch our dog, Birdie, while we were visiting from out of town. We were staying at an Airbnb and booked Moira for a house sit so we could enjoy an evening out without having to worry about finding pet friendly activities or leaving Birdie alone in the airbnb. Moira was excellent! She took great care of Birdie and really put our minds at ease so we could relax and enjoy our evening. She was on time, communicative, and we felt completely comfortable leaving Birdie in her care. We would absolutely book with Moira again and highly recommend her!
11/10 - Moira was communicative, professional, and comes highly recommended from our 2 reactive dogs & 3 cats. We had a stress free time away! Moira was flexible when I made an error on the scheduling aspect as well as literally flexible as our smaller pup locked them out of the house accidentally and she needed to climb through the bathroom window to get back in 😅 Thank you so much for everything - we would absolutely hire her again without a doubt. Big gratitude.
Moira is great with the animals, very communicative with pictures of our pets along with texts. They are happy and healthy when we arrive back home and that is the most reassuring feeling.

I met Moira in 2016. In addition to having pets of her own, she personally rescues animals needing homes and then finds the right families to care for them. She has helped rehome kittens, puppies, bunnies, and adult dogs, cats and rabbits. Moira can be trusted to take care of your pets the way you would want a professional pet sitter to look after them. Schedule
I work full time, 4 days a week. I am able to accommodate before and after work, and if the house is in the KV area I can do house visits while I am working.
