I love feeding, playing with, and caring for cats, and it is something that genuinely makes me happy. Whenever I travel, I even bring a few cans of cat food with me. I have fed and spent time with many friendly cats during my travels, including in Japan and Cuba, some of whom you can see in my photos. I am a homeowner and have a dedicated private room （200+ sqf) available specifically for cat boarding, giving your cat a quiet, comfortable space of their own. I also have two cats of my own, and they can be kept completely separate from boarding cats when needed. I have also cared for friends’ cats for many years whenever they travel. I am comfortable looking after cats with all kinds of personalities, whether they are shy, energetic, affectionate, or easygoing, and I understand that some cats may need extra time and space to adjust to a new environment. I can take care of everything your cat needs, including feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, and administering medication when needed, while closely following your instructions. I always send clear updates and photos so you know how your cat is doing. With your permission, I may also take short videos of your cat during boarding or drop-in visits and share them with you as part of your updates. I treat every cat with patience and warmth, just as I do with my own cats. Their comfort, safety, and normal routine are always my top priorities.

This was our first time boarding our 2 year old cats Boots and Beans. Mofei was very accommodating, attentive and gentle with our cats. He has two very friendly and well behaved cats but was able to provide a large private room for our cats to stay in until they felt comfortable socializing with his cats. Beans is very shy and he had a hard time adjusting to his new environment. Mofei was responsive with updates and went above and beyond to help Beans adapt. Your cats will be well taken care of with Mofei and we're happy to have booked with him again for our upcoming longer trip. Thank you Mofei!
I could not have asked for a better cat-sitter than Mofei. He provided excellent care for my cats and gave each of my cats great amounts of patience, attention, and pure love. Mofei clearly has an understanding of what cats are all about and always respects their routine and personality. He helped me feel completely comfortable when I left town. All communication was simple and thoughtful and included many updates showing me the true concern and care he had for my cats. Mofei is a good, reliable, and caring individual, and I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who needs someone they can absolutely depend on to take care of their pets.
Last summer my sister left her cat at home to me while she’s away. Before her return, I had a personal incident that I must leave the city for three days. I had no choice but to find a cat sitter. Mofei wasn a long time friend of mine and he had two cat himself, so I trusted my cat to him. When I came back from the trip, I’m satisfied to see my cat was well fed and properly taken care of. In fact she had such great time and made friends with mofei’s cat, she was not happy to go home. I would recommend mofei as a great cat sitter to anyone.

Schedule
I currently work part-time, so my schedule is quite flexible throughout the week. This allows me to fit pet care in easily, whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening visits. I’m happy to stop by for feeding, playtime, or any other care your cat needs. I’m based in York Region, and that’s the area I can serve most conveniently.

I offer cat-only care and have a free, safe room at my home for cats to stay comfortably. I can also visit your home to care for your cat there. I keep the environment calm, secure, and clean, follow all instructions, and make sure your cat’s routine and comfort always come first.

A typical day
During a drop-in visit, I focus on keeping your cat comfortable and stress free in their own home. I take care of feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and a quick health check. While cleaning the litter box, I pay close attention to stool consistency and urine clump size to monitor for any unusual changes that could indicate digestive or urinary issues. I spend quality time with your cat based on their personality—whether that’s playtime, brushing, or quiet companionship—and always leave your home clean and tidy. You’ll receive detailed updates and photos after every visit.

- Before the visit, I like to learn about your cat’s routine, personality, and preferences. Please let me know their feeding schedule, litter habits, favorite toys, and how they usually interact with new people or new cats. It’s also helpful to know about any medical conditions, medications, past urinary or digestive issues, and signs of stress or discomfort to watch for. Clear instructions for your home (keys, entry, alarms) and an emergency contact or vet information are greatly appreciated. The more I know in advance, the better care and peace of mind I can provide.
