I'm currently working part time for a private ambulance, and my classes don't start for a few months so I am able to accommodate whatever will meet your needs. I do have some regular volunteering I do at ranches and shelters, but it is flexible so I can make room for you! I always factor in drive time in how I schedule.

I care for them however you do. I don't like to change an animal's routine, and changing who they see and who is providing care is more than enough. I follow instructions, and if none are given for certain situations, I make every effort to contact you and follow what has worked for me in the past.

I like to know what their typical day looks like, their diet (if applicable), their favorite toys/treats, their quirks, any previous medical history, and any behaviors I should be aware of that are recently different or have been noted before.
A typical day
My personal favorite activity is snuggling. But I also love to stimulate the dog’s and cat’s playful sides via a classic game of fetch, or puzzle toys. I like to do whatever the pet likes to do, as I know they are all different and I want to do what makes them happy, and even introduce new things with the owner’s permission. With walking, I like the take their usual routes, but backwards, and maybe add a side street or two to change things up.

Pet care experience
I started out animal sitting and dog walking with my mum when I was 12. We would do neighbors dogs when they were on vacation, or walk them while they were at work. When I was 16, I was able to branch out on my own since I could drive. I still did jobs with my mom, but now I had my own, especially when my mom couldn't. I also boarded dogs in my home when I had dog friendly dogs. I treat every animal like my own. Your animals, while I am with them, become my world. Everything I do is to make them happy and healthy. From feeding to training to walking to loving, I will do whatever it takes. I have experience with a variety of breeds from small to large. I have taken vet assistant courses which have taught me canine first aid and CPR. I am currently enrolled in a Vet Tech program local to me. I have experience with everything except grooming, but I am more than willing to learn. I am comfortable with medication administration. I have taken client's animals to and from their vets. I will do whatever you ask me to do, and I have yet to meet an animal I haven't loved.

Mo watched my dog Alaska during my wedding and did such a good job cleaning up and making sure everything was back in its place that when my parents got back that night they were worried Mo hadn’t stopped by! I had to show them the pictures Mo sent for proof! Mo did a great job communicating and made sure I had one less thing to worry about on my wedding day.
