Cat lover who gets cats
For me, pet sitting isn’t just about feeding a cat and changing their litter or taking a dog on a walk. I want them to feel safe, cared for and comfortable while you’re away, whether that means a few cuddles, some playtime, a gentle brush, or simply sitting nearby and keeping them company. I’ve grown up around cats and have always had a genuine love for them. From short-haired to long-haired cats, I’ve cared for cats with all sorts of personalities and temperaments, and I understand that every cat has their own way of showing affection. I’m very happy to let pets come to me in their own time and give them the space they need to feel comfortable. Equally, if they’re the type who wants constant attention, I’m more than happy to provide plenty of cuddles, fuss and companionship. I’m also happy to help with grooming, including giving long-haired cats a gentle brush, as well as making sure they have everything they need while their owners are away. I’ll take the time to follow your usual routines and care instructions so that your pet can stay as comfortable and settled as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my priority. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, so I’ll treat both with care and respect. When visiting your home, I’ll follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, litter care, playtime, grooming and medication if required and agreed beforehand. I’ll also make sure doors, windows and other potential escape routes are secure before leaving. Most importantly, I’ll respect your pet’s boundaries and personality. Some pet’s want lots of cuddles and attention, while others are happier having someone quietly nearby, especially when meeting for the first time. I’m comfortable with both and will let your pet set the pace while keeping a close eye on their wellbeing. I’m also happy to keep you updated during visits with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind that your pet is happy, safe and being well cared for while you’re away.

Schedule
I'm currently unemployed so I’m able to caring for pets around my other (few) commitments and will work with you to make sure your pet’s routine is maintained while you’re away. I’m happy to discuss your preferred visit times and how often your pet usually needs company, feeding, playtime or care. I’m particularly happy to spend time with pets who enjoy company, whether that means playing, cuddling, grooming or simply sitting nearby. I’ll always follow their usual routine as closely as possible so that being away from home is as stress-free as I can make it.

- Let me know if your pet has any behaviours or routines that they have. Whether it’s usual hiding spots, preferred toys, where they sleep or expected cuddle times! I really like the opportunity to meet and greet before a house sitting. This way I get to meet your pet and you! I find that this provides a great space to familiarise myself with your home and where you keep things like food and toys whilst you can ask me questions and see how I interact with your pet!
