Pet care is a top priority in my daily and weekly routine. As a Law School student I take great honor for the care of all pets in my charge. I take all dogs for a long and enjoyable walks along the waterfront of Jack London Square in Oakland, which is conveniently located next to my apartment. I understand the importance of providing a safe and stimulating environment for pets, and I make sure to include this in my daily routine. Additionally, I will be able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding, and playtime throughout the day to ensure that all pets are comfortable and happy. My goal is to provide top-notch care for your pet and give you peace of mind while you are away.

I make sure that dogs in my care are being fed a healthy consistent diet. I maintain their personal and dental hygiene. I train my client’s dogs, as well as my own dogs. I make sure dogs in my care are getting the right amount of exercise and mental stimulation every day by taking them to a private dog park on my facility and playing fun games with them!

All dogs must be Potty trained. If your dog has a history of being destructive, when left alone, you must bring a crate, for when I may need to step out of the house. Absolutely no dogs prone to excessive barking. Absolutely no dog aggressive dogs. If your dog has any medical issues please let me know. Please let me know what triggers your Dog to become agitated or scared. Let me know if your dog isn’t friendly with other people walking up to them to say hi.
A typical day
Doggy days with me are full of fun activities. We will engage in fun games like fetch, Frisbee, or just simply run around together. I love going on long walks through out the day. In order to help my little pals stay stimulated through out the day I use treat balls, many chew toys and stuffed animals. I also am a trainer so I will implement simple training techniques with the dogs throughout the day. I show my pups a lot of love and affection to make sure they are comfortable while away from home. My home is their home.

To ensure you have peace of mind while your pet is in my care, I provide report cards for all boarding dogs to take home with them, giving you a clear overall summary of their stay. My goal is to send all pets home clean, healthy, and happy. I am a professional dog sitter with over 8 years of experience, including 2 years working at a hotel for dogs, where I also gained experience caring for cats. Additionally, I've worked at PetSmart, increasing my knowledge on dog nutrition and well-being, and I specialize in professionally training dogs. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of providing optimal care and comfort for your furry loved one, and that is exactly what I aim to do in my own home. I couldn’t have been more happy and relieved that Miyana was available to take care of my dog, Blue. She made sure to have our dogs meet beforehand and made him feel very comfortable. I had a lot of peace of mind knowing she was caring for him while I was away. He had such a good time with her!
Miyana did another wonderful job taking care of our very floofy Husky, Kiko, for ten days. It’s so nice to be able to travel and enjoy your vacation when you know your dog is happy and being well cared for! Miyana walked and brushed Kiko daily, and we received loads of cute videos and photos of our dog looking happy and healthy under her care. Kiko also enjoyed hanging out and playing with Miyana’s dog, Princess. We were so grateful she was able to care for Kiko over the Christmas holiday!
Miyana took wonderful care of our Husky, Kiko, who did a “practice” overnight before he does a long stay over the Christmas holiday. Miyana is so warm and caring, and she has extensive dog experience and is great with communication. Even though Kiko was only there for one night, I received regular photo and video updates, which is always appreciated. So glad we can travel for the holiday and rest assured Kiko is being well taken care of!
