As a cat owner myself, I understand how different each cat can be, and I always adjust my approach to suit their needs. During a typical visit, I start by checking on your pet’s overall condition, including their behaviour and appetite. I follow the feeding routine carefully and make sure fresh water is always available. I clean the litter box and keep the feeding area tidy to maintain a comfortable environment. I also spend time with your pet based on their personality, whether that’s gentle play with toys, quiet companionship, or simply giving them space if they prefer. I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For playful pets, I use toys to encourage gentle exercise and mental stimulation. For more relaxed or shy pets, I offer calm companionship, such as sitting nearby, talking softly, or giving affection if they are comfortable. My goal is to keep your pet happy, relaxed, and engaged without causing any stress.

That’s why I always provide loving and attentive care, treating every pet as if they were my own. I currently live with my 10 year old Norwegian Forest cat 🐈 Momo. She came to me when she was 8 months old, and I’ve cared for her ever since. When I first got her, she was shy and preferred a calm environment, so it took patience to earn her trust. Now she is affectionate and loves being close to me. Because of this experience, I am especially comfortable and patient caring for shy, timid, or cautious cats, always respecting their pace and personality. I have years of experience caring for cats with different routines, temperaments, and needs. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while their owners are away. I work from home running a leathercraft studio, where I also share videos on YouTube, often with Momo by my side. I’m used to calm environments and attentive routines, something many cats appreciate. I live in Chertsey and have a very flexible schedule. Miya is such an amazing beautiful soul. I asked her to come as a drop in visit to check on my two cats while I was away and we met beforehand and I showed her around and introduced her to one of the cats as the other is very shy around new people, however, the update photo's and videos Miya sent were of both of the cats which reassured my trust in her even more. She played with them and made sure their litter was clean while I was away. Amazing experience to know they were in such safe hands. Definitely rebooking with Miya for all of my trips and holidays 🥰🥰
I can't recommend Miya highly enough. I was really anxious about leaving my cat, Toby, while I was away for work. It was the first time I'd left him with a new pet sitter, and with the heatwave I was especially worried about the temperature in the apartment and whether he'd be comfortable. Miya completely put my mind at ease from the very first visit. She kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages, letting me know how Toby was doing, that he was playing, eating well, and was happy and relaxed. She also kept me informed about the temperature in the house, the windows, the litter tray, and how everything was being looked after, which gave me so much reassurance while I was away. When I got home, Toby was happy and settled, and the house was spotless. It was obvious he had been genuinely well cared for and had received lots of attention. Miya is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Thanks to her, I was able to focus on my work trip knowing Toby was in safe hands. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional pet sitter.
