Availability
I work in the emergency department as a nurse technician. I typically work two 12 hours shifts per week. My schedule rotates every 3 weeks, so I’m available most weekends and many week days. I’m also a part-time student, but all of my classes are virtual at the moment, so I do not require leaving the house.

Safety, trust & environment
I am experienced with non-other-dog-friendly-dogs, as well as overall anxious pets. I am a very tidy and organized person so if you have a higher maintenance routine I usually don’t mind.
Information Mixy G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is an escape artist! Also notify me if they have separation anxiety, allergies, or any other known hiccups! I don’t mind, just good to know ahead of time!
A typical day
Depending on your dogs needs, I will typically start out the day with a morning potty break (let out or walk) and some breakfast. If we haven’t already, at some point in the day I love to do a walk especially if the sun is shining and there’s a park nearby! We’ll finish the day off with some dinner and snuggles (if your dog is snuggle friendly)!

Adventurous Cuddle Lovin’ Fur Nanny
Pet care experience
I have taken care of a large variety of pets from German shepherds to weiner dogs, Mainecoon to Persian and even chickens! I especially love cuddly animals and dogs who like to hike! I try to love pets as if I’m their fun aunt! My personal cat recently passed at the age of 18, so pet sitting has become even more sentimental. I will walk (wish I could say run, but I’m just not athletically inclined), feed, bathe and snuggle. I have experience with puppies but also love the slow oldies. I was a full time nanny for 4 children under 6; and I now work in the emergency department; so don’t be afraid, I’m hard to overwhelm!

Reviews
Mixy watched my dog and my cat for just under a year and she was FABULOUS. She took great care in making sure both my fur babies were loved on and played with. She would update me with pictures of my pets and tell me about the silly things they would do. She was honest, kind and would go above and beyond to treat my pets like they were her own. She was punctual, trustworthy and had great communication. Your pets will love her!
Mixy is wonderful! She always does an amazing job with our German shepherd Beau! She is great at meeting his needs and loving/caring for him as her own! We have used Mixy many times when we are out of town or when we need drop in visits. She is great at communicating and keeping us updated, I know my baby is happy and safe with Mixy! Definitely recommend :)
I am very particular about who comes and stays at our house and takes care of our fur babies. When my husband and I met Mixy, our minds were out at ease. She asked all the right questions, she was enthusiastic, and our dogs and cats love her. We have two dogs and two cats. She really cared for our animals as if they were her own. Kept us up to date and sent photos. As soon as we got home the first weekend she watched my babies, I looked at my husband and said “we are keeping her!”
Mixy has watched our elderly dogs on many occasions and is wonderful with them. Our older dog is blind and she goes out of her way to make sure he is comfortable when we are away. Mixy is trustworthy and dependable. We love working with her.
