Temp fur-mom that loves your babies
I have had pets since I was 5 years including birds, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I have had my cat through two litters. Now mom of a college student, together her and I now have two fur babies. I have cared-for (sitted) from one night to two months (which at that point she was practically my own fur baby, so we shared custody for awhile after, lol owner was away for a summer abroad). I have cared from 8 weeks old to 17 year-olds. I have been through all the many poodles of duties of caring and raising animals and have thoroughly & truly enjoyed it all.

I was so nervous about leaving Jacob with someone new for the first time, but I felt completely at ease as soon as I met Mixie. She was so kind and welcoming, and the way she immediately picked Jacob up and gave him a hug instantly eased my mind. Throughout his stay, Mixie kept me updated every day and sent me pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear that Jacob was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. She took wonderful care of my baby, and I’m so grateful I found someone I can trust with him. I would absolutely book with Mixie again and highly recommend her!
Mixie was so great with our goldendoodle! She was very understanding and accommodating with our travel plans and we received many pictures and updates! Would love to use her again in the future!
Mixie is a lovely person! My little dog had a great stay with her. My dog is a 15 year-old, very particular little old lady. She was happy all weekend. I highly recommend Mixie.
Mixie and family have done an amazing job watching Cynamon! We love them and they love her! You can tell the way your baby runs up and wants to be loved on by them that this is what they do! No complaints, I’ll be droppin her off each time to them when we cant travel with her! So grateful for Rover to link us with them! Thank you so much Mixie and family💕💕💕
Mixie was more than willing to have Luka with days notice. She was flexible with changes in drop off due to travel plans. My dog had surgery and had to have his bandage replaced and she did that throughout his stay, as well as keeping him well fed and entertained. He got along well with her dogs and was very happy. She updated me with pictures and I always felt my dog was in good care!
This was our second time booking with Mixie and we love the updates, love that Cynamon seems happy when she’s there and happy to see them when we drop off! I’m so glad we found Mixie and family to love on Cynamon when we can’t travel with her. It really feels good to be able to enjoy time away without wondering if the baby is ok! Thank you soooooooo much for loving on our baby in our absence.

Schedule
I work from home and can take them out for potty-breaks and walks throughout the day. Additionally, I have my aunt in the downstairs room that’s here 24-7. So pets are cared for around the clock and never alone.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a friendly family safe neighborhood, with a dog park in walking distance. I have a fenced large backyard and also, an outdoor atrium if the backyard grass is too wet. I also have pet food/treats/toys on auto-ship so there always treats, toys, and food readily available. As well as extra bowls and extra comfy pet beds. The fur-babies are more than welcomed to roam the whole house anytime and sleep on the bed, if that’s where they prefer.
Pets
A typical day
We can go for walks around the neighborhood and we can also play fetch in my backyard or go to the dog park. We can also go to our fave place, Starbucks for puppuccino (if approved by fur parents, of course).

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or special food requirements or any allergies. Also, if require pee pads or still in-training (I have pee pads and diapers, if needed). I would like to know if your fur babies are spayed or neutered or if prefer to play or not play with other pets. Lastly, if you can please bathe your fur-babies prior to drop-off. if you can't, just please let me know (it’s preferred not mandatory).
