Pet care experience

Med Student│Dog Mom│Animal Lover 🐶

🐕 I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was about 15, from small lap dogs to large breeds. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, and love their pets as if they were my own. I’ve self-trained my dogs to follow many commands and am comfortable with everything from playtime to medication administration. My own dog, Bluey, is a gentle and social Shih Tzu who gets along beautifully with other dogs. I bring patience, consistency, and a calm energy to every interaction, making even shy pets feel at ease. Whether your pup loves cuddles, long walks, or quiet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

I take pet safety seriously and treat every home with respect. I carefully follow owners’ instructions for feeding, routines, and safety. When caring for pets, I maintain a calm, clean environment and make sure doors and gates are always secure. At my own place, I have a cozy setup with safe play areas and my friendly dog, Bluey, who loves company. I can provide regular potty breaks, administer medications, and share frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and confident while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

We’ll start the day with a nice morning walk and plenty of time to sniff around! I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood with a nearby dog park if your pup enjoys that. Throughout the day, I keep pets mentally and physically engaged, from indoor play to exploring local parks and trails. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including regular potty breaks, cuddles, and photo or video updates so you always feel connected. I’m a fourth-year medical student who has finished all rotations and applications, so I’m home full-time spending time with my own gentle Shih Tzu and my grandmother, who also adores dogs. I can easily adjust to your dog’s schedule whether that means extra potty breaks, a drive for some fresh air, or cozy downtime at home.

I’d love to know your pet’s daily routine, favorite toys or treats, and any quirks that help them feel comfortable. Please share if they have any allergies, medication needs, separation anxiety, or triggers (like loud noises or other dogs). The more I know about your pet’s personality and habits, the better I can make them feel at home.
