Hello! I have recently relocated from MD to San Antonio, TX. I am currently accepting new clients! Please reach out with any questions you may have. I have been around dogs of various ages, sizes and breeds for over 20 years. I currently own 2 chihuahuas and a labrador of my own, and so am comfortable around all ages, sizes, and breeds. Breeds that I have walked and are familiar with -- Chihuahuas, Labradors, Pit bull mixes, havanese, Golden doodle, vizla, cockapoo, shih tzu, Jack Russell, bluetick coonhound, dalmatian, German shepherd Please select dog walk if you want your dog mainly walked/exercised for the full 30 minutes. If you require feeding and playtime but not a full walk, please select the drop in visit. That will include a potty break (a short walk) but will leave time for feeding / playtime / snuggling. ** I am a Fi collar user, so if you have a Fi collar and want to set me up as a dog walker on it, just let me know!** The Fi collar helps me track my dogs' gps location and improve their health! Mitchell was incredibly with Ray. Our dog usually is very ‘keep your distance’ type of dog but with Mitchell he wagged his tail and felt so comfortable around him. We were out of town for around 4 days and he was very attentive and he would send us pictures and leave comments for how our dog was doing. We sure book him again for our next trip.
Mitch was, as always, a wonderful sitter! Responsive, helpful, and caring throughout.

I work full time but I have flex hours some days while working from home to be able to assist you as needed. I am happy to help out during the week as well as on the weekends. I hope to be able to look at your pup(s) over weekends and for long weekends!

Safety, trust & environment
I am familiar with both crate trained dogs and dogs who are used to roaming in specified areas / whole house access. I am extremely conscious of pet proofing (having 2 chihuahuas, a labrador, and a young child of my own) and ensuring that dogs only can access what is good for them.
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks with dogs, or even play in the backyard if that is what you're dog is used to. Fetch and tug are always fun! I work hard to provide your dog(s) with as much exercise as possible, and give them time to sniff and explore. Unless otherwise requested or inclement weather does not allow, I keep your dogs engaged the entire time you book me. I also provide detailed "stories" of each walk so that you know what happened each time. I will note leash behavior, pulling, disobedience, barking, chasing, playfulness, greeting other people/pups or if your dog does anything silly/funny. I also provide several pictures of each walk and you will have a GPS map and distance walked each time.
