About Mitchell M.
Safety, trust & environment
I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet and being in your home. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and any house rules you leave for me. I’m careful about things like doors, windows, leashes, and making sure pets are secure before I come and go. I also pay attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and will let you know if anything seems off. My goal is pretty simple: keep your pet safe and comfortable, keep your home the way I found it, and make sure you don’t have to worry while you’re away.
Information Mitchell M. would like to know about your pet
Have you ever been at a party rambling on about your pet's intricacies and quirks? I want to hear all about them! It's also important that I know of any particular needs your pet may have, like medications, behavior needs, their favorite stuffie, etc.
A typical day
I strive to tailor activities to the pet to ensure adequate enrichment and address their energy, mobility, and behavioral needs. If you book me, we will talk about what makes sense for your pet and their specific needs.

Pet care experience
I have a degree in Animal Science and extensive hands-on experience caring for animals in both veterinary and rehabilitation settings. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant, where I gained experience safely handling and restraining animals, assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or condition. I currently volunteer in wildlife rehabilitation and am preparing to apply to veterinary school. I’m also a cat parent to Ollie, who has asthma and stomatitis, so I understand firsthand what it’s like to care for a pet with chronic health conditions. I’m comfortable with medication routines, keeping an eye out for changes in behavior or symptoms, and giving pets with ongoing medical needs the extra attention they may require. I’m comfortable with animals who need a little extra patience, including nervous or shy pets, seniors, and pets with medical needs. Most importantly, I know that every animal has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and comfortable while their person is away.
