I’ve been around dogs for years and currently share my home with two of my own: a senior Siberian Husky and a young Malamute/Husky mix. Caring for dogs at such different stages of life has given me hands-on experience with everything from energetic puppies and training routines to the slower pace and unique needs of older dogs. I’m comfortable caring for medium and large dogs, high-energy breeds, strong personalities, and dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. With my own dogs, I regularly work on loose-leash walking, recall, impulse control, basic obedience, and good everyday manners. I’m happy to reinforce the routines, commands, and expectations that already help your dog feel comfortable and successful. For walks, my goal is to provide more than just a quick trip around the block. I want your dog to enjoy a safe, enriching outing with time to sniff, explore, exercise, and return home happy and satisfied. During drop-in visits, I’m happy to provide meals, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, medications when appropriate, and plenty of affection and attention. I’ll also send you an update so you can feel reassured and know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Every dog has a unique personality, so I take the time to adjust my approach to help each pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I’ll treat your pets—and your home—with the same kindness, care, and respect I’d want for my own.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible while providing safe, attentive, and personalized care. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications when appropriate, playtime, and any household routines or commands your pet is accustomed to. For dogs, I’m comfortable with different sizes, ages, and energy levels, including puppies, senior dogs, and larger high-energy breeds. Walks can be adjusted to your dog’s needs, whether that means an active outing or a slower sniff-filled walk. I’m also happy to reinforce the leash manners and basic commands you already use. For cats, I’ll take care of feeding, fresh water, litter boxes, playtime, and companionship while respecting cats that prefer a little more space. I’ll treat your home respectfully, make sure doors and gates are secured, and provide photos and updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

My current cat, Ricotta, is particularly fond of Mitchell. Ricotta always enjoys spending time with him and is never particularly happy when Mitchell has to leave—which I think is about as strong an endorsement as a cat can give! Schedule
Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. With two dogs of my own, I’m used to planning my day around walks, feeding, training, playtime, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I have flexibility in my schedule for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, and I’m happy to work with pet parents to maintain the routines their pets are accustomed to. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, a potty break and some playtime, or your cat needs feeding and company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive attentive, reliable care. I also keep my Rover schedule updated so I only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve
