Availability
Because I am retired I have plenty of time to give your fur babies the love, and time that they require and need. I do prefer no drop-offs before 8 AM or pick-ups after 8 PM though I can make exceptions if absolutely necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
With a loving home environment (enclosed backyard with doggie door and all the furniture they care to lay on) why would anyone consider putting their fur baby in a big box store kennel with dozens of other dogs in the mix?

Information Mitch S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any special needs, unusual behaviors, particular preferences etc. This can include eating schedule, food amounts and any medications. Because this is a home environment, Please NO NON-HOUSEBROKEN DOGS. Bring anything that helps your dog feel more comfortable such as familiar bed, blanket or toy. Crates are not necessary unless you use them at home and your dog likes it. Be sure to bring what your dog eats for the duration of the stay as changing any dogs diet suddenly is generally not a good idea.
A typical day
A typical day here would be something like at home. A little petting, laying around, a little fetch, laying around, a walk, laying around, go to backyard, laying around, a little playing, laying around, eat, laying around, more petting, laying around, a treat and a nap.

HOW COULD ANYONE NOT LOVE ❤️ DOGS?
Pet care experience
My wife of 40 years and myself are both animals lovers, and we especially love dogs. We owned a Pet Store and a Kennel in the past, thus are very experienced in many facets of animal care. I generally choose to board only one clients dog(s) at a time to eliminate multiple dog conflict surprises. I only will make an exception if I cared for the dogs previously and I’m very familiar with their temperament. We live in a gated community and our home has a doggie door that leads to a completely enclosed backyard. For the dogs that enjoy going on walks (most do) we live just a few blocks away from a beautiful park. I’ll make every effort to make your fur baby feel like part of our loving pack.
Reviews

Thank you for watching Denver again. It’s so wonderful to have such sweet and loving people take care of our baby the past 7 years. He had a great time.

Mitch has been an awesome pet sitter for Piper! We definitely will book with him in the future- already rebooked for a future stay. Piper got daily walks, and made really good friends with his dog, Murphy. Would give more stars if I could!!!

Ryder had a perfect stay, thanks.

This was my first time using Rover and the first time not having a close friend watch Cali so I was definitely a little nervous. I feel so lucky that Mitch ended up being my first experience with the site because he was spectacular. He is such a friendly, honest, and accommodating person, and you can tell immediately that he truly loves dogs. He clearly knows what he’s doing, both with dogs and with making everything easy for someone new to it. The updates and pictures were great and made us feel so much better while we were away. Cali was clearly in great hands, and I would absolutely book with Mitch again.
