I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. Our family dog was the same age as me, so I truly grew up side by side with a pet and learned what it means to care for an animal through every stage of life from the beginning to the end. I started pet sitting for family friends back in junior high, and I grew up helping care for our own cats and dog in my parent’s house. While in college, I had roommates with cats which I enjoyed and would frequently pet sit for my godparents and other friends as well. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention and love they need while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow care instructions closely and make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and well cared for. I keep environments clean, calm, and pet-friendly, paying close attention to routines, feeding schedules, and any special needs. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and comfort level, and I always aim to create a loving environment where pets feel safe, happy, and at home.

Our dog Ranger had serious separation anxiety causing problems if we were away from home for extended periods. Mita was one of our go-to caregivers for Ranger providing shorter visits and walks to break up his day. She was a pet-sitter for longer weekend stays and we always returned to a clean home, organized notes and happy animals. Mita is calm and kind with a gentle spirit and was one of Rangers favorite humans. I highly recommend Mita for pet-sitting services!

Mita has been watching pets in our home independently since she was in high school. We have a dog and 2 cats. Mita not only takes loving care of the animals, but she also ensures they keep their feeding schedules and gives the dog walks. She will clean litter boxes too! She has stayed in our home for up to two full weeks doing pet care--while we were on overseas trips.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a variety of bookings. In the coming weeks, I will be working Monday through Friday from 8:00–4:30, but I will still be available for pet care after work on weekdays, as well as available on weekends. I do my best to be upfront about availability and communicate clearly, so we can find a schedule that works best for you and your pet.
