Hello! I’m a retired Special Education teacher. My passion is dogs and the care and training of dogs. When your furr baby is staying with me, she or he is my priority. I am patient, caring and truly want your furr baby to have a safe, engaging and fun time while in my care. I’d love to take your furr baby for walks and/ or give cuddles; as desired. I first became available on Rover in 2017, first working in California and now in Colorado. I work full-time at home and will give your sweet furr baby all the time, care and exercise he or she needs.

We had never used Rover before and needed help last minute. Misty was available, affordable, and the absolute best choice for our dog Rosemary! She kept us updated several times a day and sent pictures of our very happy pup. Rosemary settled in easily and was extremely well cared for. We will 100% use Misty again in the future. Thank you, Misty, for loving Rosemary as much as we do!

My pup always loves his time with Misty, she is very attentive and provides great updates. Her family and pups are great friends with my dog and they get along great. My pup doesn't want to come home at the end of the stay, which I think is the best indicator that he has a great stay every time he is with Misty.

I’m currently at home full-time. I have plenty of time for your furr baby Please schedule pickup & drop-off times between 7am - 9:30pm. Thank you.

I have two dogs and two cats. One dog is a friendly, small-sized older dog. He is calm and will engage with your furr baby as much as they want. I also have a large breed female dog. She is sweet, curious and well-behaved. I have four available crates if you use crating. The cats have separate areas and mostly stay in their own room during dog boarding.

I love to play many fun indoor games like tug and throw and retrieve. I will take your furr baby out for many walks daily; longer walks as needed.
