I make my own schedule. Sometimes I have training sessions while your baby is here & will need to be crated during that time. I transport non-reactive boarding dogs to and from daycare with me almost everyday.

Dogs are placed in a pack in or out of the house depending on size. Large dogs are in our boarding suites & small dogs are in the home. Large dogs are on a rotation schedule to ensure multi-household safety. Sometimes we can run everyone in a pack and sometimes separation is needed. If you allow your dog on the couch, they are allowed on mine. If not, I will continue to enforce your rules here. I have children (8 & 12) here but are very respectful of dogs. No human food is allowed to be given to any dogs in my home.

A typical day
Dogs are let out of stables at about 7am. We have 14 acres that we have packs walk on weather permitting. If your dog has a great 10/10 recall, they are allowed off leash, once they prove their reliability. If they do not have a trusted recall, they are allowed on my 50 foot long line for these walks. Meals are given 2x a day (7:30am & 6:30pm). Tailored Canine is a vacation away from home.

I am a certified Dog Trainer & Behavior Specialist for 15 years. I specialize in Obedience and Behavioral Training using a combination of positive reinforcement & balanced training. I offer boarding, training, and a combination of the two! We also have groomers on site that can give exit baths. I am certified in Pet First Aid, Sitting, Nutrition & Basic Grooming. I accept all ages & NO breed restrictions. I have 4 dogs of my own. I work out of my home & in my facility as a dog trainer. Sometimes I travel to my clients. I may take a dog out for Out & About time or to the facility for daycare. Most boarding dogs go to and from daycare every week day (non-reactive dogs). Caring for your fur babies is extremely important to me and I put them first in my schedule. I have 2 kids I run to school but other than that i’m with dogs. I have 3 dogs of my own, two mastiffs and one shih-poo mix. All three are well trained to assist in training and helping other dogs overcome insecurities and behaviors. I have my mellow mastiff, my playful mastiff & my old man who loves dogs. I can pick and choose who is the best playmate for your baby and build on that. My dogs have a incredible recall and leave it command so your pup knows I have everything under control & can give your baby as much or as little space needed.

Mistie B and her family are so wonderful! My husband was having surgery. Misty was there for us! She lives outside of town. So no doggie park and all the disgusting things that go with it. Her yard is fenced in. She has 2 wonderful dogs for yours to play with. Her house is well maintained. Her 2 kids are fantastic. She is so caring and loving. Worked with my Standard poodle the whole time. We will be using Mistie B again in a month. I have used Rover before, as a trucker. All across the USA. This caregiver is by far the best across the US!!!
Mistie was great! Our puppy was well cared for and she loved the dog companions she had while there. She also sent pictures was were great to see!.
Mistie is one-of-a-kind to say the least! We have four dogs and it had been impossible to entrust their lives with anyone other than our immediate family members. We first reached out to Mistie earlier this year through her training company, BK9 Training, and were over the moon with the results she achieved with our pups. We truly grew to love Mistie and her family—so much so that we finally were able to trust someone outside of our family to watch our dogs when we went out of town! Perhaps it's because they really did become like family to us. Mistie is also THE most humble and understanding dog trainer I've met to date, which I am convinced is what makes her stand out from the rest. You can clearly see she cares about your dog and believes in them, even if others have written them off. We have missed Mistie and her wonderful family so very much since they moved out of state—but we're confident she's going to continue changing the lives of pets and their people in Idaho. I just can't recommend her enough—she's as good as it gets!
