WFH Pet Sitter & Walker
I work remotely as a researcher, but pet sitting and dog walking has been my favorite job since 2017! I recently spent 2.5 years as a full-time traveling pet and house sitter. That experience shaped how I think about quality care. It comes from patience, attentiveness, and genuinely caring about your pet’s comfort and emotional wellbeing. My #1 focus is making sure pets stay healthy and calm when their routine changes, and my human clients all express how happy they are seeing how relaxed their fur babies are while they’re away. I’ve even snuggled some cats I was told wouldn’t emerge from their hiding places when their parents were away! Now, I’m based in San Diego and continuing to offer pet sitting and drop-in care that reflects that same philosophy: luxury-level attention, realistically priced. Misti did an excellent job watching my cat, Nipsy. She maintained clear communication throughout and managed to get my shy cat to warm up to her. She was super easy to coordinate with. I’d gladly book her again and recommend her to anyone looking for dependable pet sitting.

Misti was so great and made sure my cat got lots of attention and love while I was gone! She sent me pictures and videos every day which was so nice and reassuring. I highly recommend Misti!

I’m a researcher working fully remote so I can easily accommodate a range of schedules and spend a lot of time at home with your pet while sitting as long as you have Wi-Fi!
