I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments since I was six or seven years old which was over 30 years ago. I currently have two lazy American Fox Hounds that are just as loved as my non fur kids.

This is my third trip booking Misa for house-sitting this year and, as always, she was great! She sent photos and notes of my pup, left the house in great condition, and best of all, I know that I don't need to worry about my pet when I'm on travel because she's in the bestest hands! Highly recommend Misa for watching your pups or kitties!
Misa is wonderful. She followed schedule for Scotty. Sent lovely pics, and stayed in close communication. Scotty was obviously quite content and also happy to have made new friends!

I'm retired military so I have lots of free time to pop in to walk/care for your dogs. As someone who doesn't leave her dogs alone for too long and stresses out when leaving them for extended hours, I know how anxiety inducing it can be wondering if your dog needs to be let out or looked after when you're away running errands or at work. I typically do my walking/visits at about 9 am until about 3/3:30 pm with some gaps in-between so if I'm pet sitting, I'll likely be out of the house during those times on Monday thru Fridays. Depending on your location, I ought to be able to swing by for a potty break if needed. Saturdays and Sundays are much lighter days so lots of time will be spent at our sitting location.

I always make sure collars or harnesses are worn properly/securely and ensure leashes are good to go. I'm also quite paranoid about pets trying to dash out of an open door so am always aware of pets near the door as I enter/exit for walks, visits, or during my stay. For furbabies staying at my home... I live in a townhome and the living, dining room, kitchen, and upstairs are gated off in case separation is needed for feeding and to ensure there are no pup escapes. Someone is home 99% of the time as my mother is always home or my two teen sons (who also dog sit/walk for others). The only time someone might not be home is on Sundays for maybe 3 hours.
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, giving copious amounts of rubs/love, and letting doggies have their zoomies (where it's allowed...) I also enjoy conversations with them even though they might look at me like I'm a bit off. For those staying at my home, they'll get lots of walks (usually done singly) and playtime with my two weirdos.
