As a Master’s student, I spend the majority of my week studying from my home office, which means your pet will have constant companionship and a quiet, focused environment. My typical routine includes: Morning Walks: A long walk before my day starts to ensure your pet is relaxed and happy. Structured Breaks: I provide potty breaks and playtime every 2–4 hours throughout the day. Class Schedule: I have in-person classes on Mondays (11 am–1:30 pm) and Tuesdays (8 am–1 pm). Outside of these short windows, I am fully available for walks, feeding, and enrichment. Evenings & Weekends: My weekends are completely open, allowing for longer outings to local parks or extra grooming time. Because I limit my boarding to only two dogs and one cat, your pet will always be a priority in my daily schedule, never just one of the crowd!

Safety, trust & environment
I believe a calm environment is the foundation of a happy pet. Whether in my home or yours, my priority is maintaining a high standard of safety and comfort. In My Home: Hazard-Free Zone: As an architect, I’ve designed my apartment to be a secure, open space. I ensure no small objects or dangerous plants are accessible. Hygiene First: With my grooming background, I maintain a very clean environment. I use my in-suite laundry to keep pet bedding fresh and sanitized. Constant Monitoring: Pets are never left unsupervised with others. I use baby gates or crates if a 'quiet break' is needed. In Your Home: Respect & Responsibility: I treat your home with the utmost care. I follow all house rules regarding furniture and restricted areas. Routine Consistency: I stick strictly to your pet’s existing feeding and walk schedule to minimize any stress while you are away. Security: I am meticulous about locking doors and ensuring your home remains exactly as you left it. The Trust Factor: I am a firm believer in the 'Meet & Greet.' I want to meet you and your pet beforehand to ensure we are a perfect match and to discuss any specific medical or behavioral needs.

Information Miryam T. would like to know about your pet
To ensure the best experience and a safe environment for everyone, please share the following details during our Meet & Greet: Socialization: How does your pet react to other dogs or cats? Since I can host up to three pets, they must be non-aggressive and socialized. Health & Hygiene: Are they up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention? Please mention any allergies or medical conditions. Grooming Comfort: Does your pet have any 'sensitive' spots (paws, ears, tail)? As a groomer, I want to ensure they are comfortable being handled. Daily Quirks: Are they an 'escape artist' or prone to barking at hallway noises? Do they have separation anxiety? Potty Habits: Are they fully house-trained or crate-trained? (This is especially important for my Monday/Tuesday class schedule). Feeding & Routine: What is their exact meal schedule and are they 'resource protective' over food or toys? Note for Boarding: Please bring your pet's own bed, food, and—if you'd like a complimentary bath—their preferred shampoo and brush!
A typical day
Our day starts with a refreshing morning walk along the nearby trails to get the energy out before I settle in for my studies. Since I work from a home office, your pet will spend the day as my 'study buddy,' enjoying plenty of belly rubs and head scratches between my tasks. Fun and Enrichment Activities: Architectural Walks: I love exploring the local neighborhood and parks—your pet will get plenty of mental stimulation with new sights and smells! Groomer's Care: For pets who enjoy it, I offer gentle brushing sessions to keep them relaxed and their coats tangle-free. Brain Games: I use treat-puzzles and indoor play (like 'find the toy') to keep them engaged during my study breaks. Photo Shoots: With my eye for design, I love taking high-quality 'pupdates' to send you throughout the day! After my Monday/Tuesday classes, we celebrate with an extra-long evening walk. By the time you pick them up or I tuck them in for the night, they will be happy, tired, and well-loved.

Pet Groomer & Sitter Lover
Pet care experience
I have over 4 years of experience caring for pets, including specialized training as a Certified Pet Groomer. This means I am highly skilled in animal handling, hygiene, and identifying early signs of health issues. I was mother of pets, so I understand the specific needs of small, high-maintenance breeds. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or calm, I know how to adapt my care to their personality.

Miryam also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Miryam did an amazing job caring for our two cats during our honeymoon. She was able to befriend our shy boy and is an excellent communicator. We appreciated the updates we received with each visit. Our home was well cared for while we were away. And she was able to give our eldest cat his puffers.

Winston had a great time, he came home very happy! 😊
