I am a mechanical engineering student, so my schedule is very flexible. I walk, cycle, and TTC, so no need for parking! I love having the opportunity to integrate furry friends into my routine.

I am a seasoned carer for my three buns (dusty, soup, and drosophila), gerbils (miso), leopard gecko (artemis), and have had many hamsters. I maintain several freshwater aquaria with my partner, and have TONS of plants. I will follow your specifications and requests to a tee, and can be contacted on my cell whenever you need. I am also seasoned in housekeeping, should that be a plus!

A typical day
I look forward to getting to interact with all kinds of animals, and will take your lead in boundaries your pets have and how to make them the most comfortable. I've found that most animals are very food motivated - me too - and lots of games, enrichment, and fun tend to come out of creativity involving snacks.

I am honoured to have been trusted with the care and custodianship of cherished pets, furry, scaly, and slimey, since I was a young child, which has given me invaluable experience and skill. Whether you need occasional help with walks, feeding, or sitting while you are away, I'm your gal! I've also got lots of exotic pet experience (I have three bunnies myself, and many aquaria) as well as experience caring for diverse houseplants and gardens. I pride myself in meeting the needs of even the most specialized critters, big or small, and look forward to providing the best experience for your pets, especially those that need a little extra love. I will make my schedule work with yours and look forward to talking soon!

Miryam is one of the most caring and attentive people I have the pleasure of knowing. She has the natural instinct to care for other people as well as her own pets and plants. Even when we're together in the same room, she's constantly spending her time nurturing those around her. Including her pets and plants, which really speaks to her character and what kind of friend she is. I would go to her as my first choice for any of my own pets for a sitter or a walker and I'm really fortunate to know someone so responsible with animals. Her general knowledge of animals and pets is also something that is really unique about her. She is able to sense when one of her own pets needs any attention, and if it's specifically medical attention, she has them immediately checked at the vet. Her natural instincts just seem to kick in when it comes to being a pet caregiver.
Miryam loves animals of all kinds and consistently strives to enrich their lives however she can. She puts in the effort and does the research. As someone who has the privilege of experiencing how she interacts with her own pets, she is my first choice if I need an extra caregiver for mine. Highly recommend!
