Typically for house sittings I am in the home from about 9pm-8am (give or take an hour), and will come back for midday and dinner time check ins (depending on my schedule I may not have to leave after dinner). Check ins range anywhere from 30 mins to a couple hours depending on your pet’s needs and my schedule.

For dogs I always make sure they go out to potty as soon as I get to them. I always make sure your pet has plenty of fresh water before leaving. I do not let cats outside. Dogs will always be under supervision when outside. On walks I make sure to have a firm grip on the leash, and always have poo bags with me. I do also carry compressed air in the event an aggressive/unleashed animal comes up to us during walks.

A typical day
I try to stick to your pet’s typical schedule and activities and can also bring extra toys, take them on hikes, nature walks, or even just drive around if they really like car rides!

***I WILL BE ENDING SERVICES STARTING JULY 1ST TO PREPARE FOR MY BABY’S ARRIVAL. THANK YOU*** My name is Miriya, I have a passion for pet care and a love for all animals! I've had the honor of caring for Henderson's and Vegas' finest fur (feathered, scaled) babies for the past 3 years, and cared for pets in Washington state for 3 years prior. I have had animals my whole life, and I currently have 3 pups and 2 kittens of my own. I have experience in caring for dogs of any size, and am open to all breeds. I also know how to use most collars and harnesses, although I’m not the best with prong collars (I’m working on it though!). I can also care for cats, horses, farm animals, rabbits or other small critters, birds, fish, and reptiles! You name it, I can care for it! (Not very Equine savvy, but can do basic care like feeding, watering, brushing, etc.) I can play with, walk with, hike, etc., with your pup to get their energy out, but I can also just kick back and cuddle with them! I am currently available for drop in visits, dog walks, and overnight house sittings. Litter box cleaning is included for cat drop in visits and overnights! ***I require a meet and greet for all new clients, and will wait to confirm your booking until after M&G.*** ***For drop ins & walks: If your pet needs more than a standard 30 minute drop in, I do charge an extra $10 for 60 minutes and another $10 for every hour after that. Any additional pets will just be charged the flat additional dog/cat rate. For multi-hour drop ins/daycare, I will charge per hour until the price equals my house sitting rate ($85/night).*** ***For house sittings, please be aware that I will need to be away from your pet during the day or for 4-6 hours at a time. I do still conduct drop in visit and walks during house sittings, and will need to come home and check on my pups if I’m unable to bring them to the house sitting. I am not able to do 24/7 house sittings, I need to be able to come and go as needed. House sittings also include basic house keeping tasks such as taking out the trash, checking mail, watering plants, etc upon request!*** I provide free bathing upon request!
