Information Miriam V. would like to know about your pet
I am eager to learn my clients preferences and their pets needs so I can provide world class service. ***IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOARDING*** Please send me a copy of your pal's vaccination records or kindly update your Rover profile with your vet records. All dogs are required to be up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Canine influenza vaccines are recommended but not required. Please discuss this option with your veterinarian. All pets are required to be on flea/tick preventative & must be parasite free. I watch Puppies but age-appropriate vaccinations are required. Intact males and females are not allowed after 6 months of age or after their first heat cycle, whichever comes first. In the city of Dallas, it is illegal to have intact canines over the age of 6 months. Please reference SEC. 7-4.10. RESTRICTIONS ON UNSTERILIZED DOGS AND CATS. I would want to be informed of any unfavorable behavioral or temperament issues. If the dog startles easy or is “skiddish” I would need to know if they can perform basic commands. Age is important Any disabilities Please inform me of any specific care instructions or requests. Specific questions: Are they allowed on furniture? Do they get car sick? Do they “snack”? What do they snack on? What is the most important thing to you and your pet during our time together? Training? QT? Exercise? Diet? Etc… Does your pet(s) have any food Allergies? Skin allergies or sensitivities? *** I do ask clients to please bring a collar, comfy blanket or towel that smells like home, your pup’s favorite treats would also be very helpful. Don’t forget kibble, a leash and some poop bags to clean up on walks and adventures please. You could also bring a favorite toy or anything you think would make them feel at home❤️***
A typical day
In Home Sitting would include pet care as well as checking clients mail box, securing packages, watering plants/yard, turning on and off security lights, feeding fish and reptiles, etc… if reasonable, I don’t mind taking care of a few things concerning the client’s home. Please inquire before booking. If you book me for Home Sitting, I can typically stay the night over. Rarely are there instances where I cannot. When house sitting, I do have to leave for 3-4 hours at a time to take care of my babies at home and take care of standing bookings I have like walks and drop-in visits.

⭐️ROVER IS MY FT JOB⭐️ ***please read my profile in its entirety before inquiring for bookings*** *** At this time, I am not able to take bookings that have more than a 1 hour pick up/drop off window *** *** A booking is not complete and date(s) are not guaranteed until booked officially through Rover. I am not able to hold dates on bookings for prospective clients as my calendar can get filled up quickly.*** ***All client's must show proof of up to date inoculation before any bookings are accepted*** Required Vaccinations: DAPP/DHPP, Distemper, Rabies, Leptospirosis, and Canine Influenza. Parasite prevention and pet insurance are highly suggested. ***Intact males or females are not allowed after 6 months of age or after their first heat cycle, whichever comes first.*** Howdy! I’m a proud Dallasite born and raised so I’m familiar with the surrounding neighborhoods and cities. I have been booking through Rover since 2020. I service West Dallas including Bishop Arts, Trinity Groves, Oak Cliff and Kessler. I am also available in Old East Dallas, Highland Park, Uptown, Central Dallas, Deep Ellum, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Irving and Lower Greenville. The first dog I had as a child was a Great Dane. My parents bred Chow Chows throughout my childhood and as an adult, I had a 14 year old Rat Terrier named Jackson who passed in 2020🕊️ Since then we've rescued a hound mix named, DooD and a chihuahua named Sophia. You can learn more about Jackson and DooD on their Rover profiles 😁 I have a a 14” Plecostomus named Pablo. He will be turning 12 this year! I have been booking through Rover since 2020 and have made a career out of my passion for pets. I love what I do and am pleased to be able to do it everyday! I am experienced and qualified in pet handling so you can rest easy knowing your loved one is in good hands 🙂 I am confident that you and your pupper doggo will be more than satisfied with the quality services I have to offer. When I am able to, I do work with pups that are not fully socialized on a case by case basis. This would require a free meet and greet and possibly a few daycares to acclimate before boarding. Space is very limited in cases like these but I will do my best to work around all my client's needs. I provide “group” or private walks and boarding. I can also offer reptile and aquatic care. I have experience specifically with lizards, amphibians, fresh water and salt water tanks. I am not shy to take on new species. I don’t know much about birds but I am willing to learn as well. I live in the Oak Cliff area so I’m close to home. Oak Cliff, Cockrellhill, Kessler Park, Bishop Arts, Trinity Groves, Highland Park, and Downtown Dallas are all ideal service areas for me but I am always willing to make exceptions when I am able to. I have taken clients in Irving, North Dallas and Lower Greenville as well. I have a 6ft, fenced in yard with a snuggly pup to keep your baby company. I have several different sized crates ranging from small to XL available in case they are needed. I also have cameras outside and inside my home. Both my partner and I are able to care for pups in our home where we do our best to make your babies feel comfortable and at home. Pups are rarely ever left unattended or outside by themselves. Rover is my full time job. I am home 95% of the time so your fur baby is never lonely and is almost always under 24hr supervision while boarding with me 😁 I have a great relationship with my direct neighbors. They are animal lovers as well 🥰 I very rarely walk the pups around in my neighborhood. For the safety myself and all clients, I wouldn't want people knowing I have “designer dogs” in and out of my home. I also don't take pups with me in the car unless they can get out or go inside with me. I also have seat belts for dogs if needed. My home also has smoke and carbon detectors as well as a fire extinguisher. I have posted a few photos of the interior of my home if you would like to see common areas for the pups. Photos of the backyard will be coming soon!
Reviews

Miriam always takes such good care of our dog. She sends regular updates and the communication is great. Always reassured that she keeps an eye on her and keeps her safe along with the other dogs our pup loves to interact with. Coco looked great after our 2 week trip, we were sad to leave her behind but felt good having her stay with Miriam.

Miriam has been helping a take care of Coco since we adopted her about a year and a half ago. First by sitting, and also walking her. We know that our pup is in very good hands with her. Our dog always has so much fun when being boarded at her place, always has a lot of friends to play with. And most importantly Coco is always kept safe, and I always feel very assured with Coco under her care.

Thank you so much for taking such great care of Gia and Enzo!

Miriam has boarded my dog LuLu several times over the past year and I would hands down recommend her. This is my first dog and since I adopted her I wasn’t sure of her social skills around other dogs but she did well with Miriam’s visitors and resident doggos. She’s personable, responsive to messages and manages her schedule well to meet all of her visitors needs really well.
