I'm a responsible, honest, and devoted dog and cat lover. If you're looking for someone you can trust and not worry about your pets with, I'm your gal. Since I have hired pet carers for my own beloved cats and dogs, I know the anxiety that comes with entrusting your loved ones to another person; once you meet me, you will not feel anxiety about trusting your loved-one/s to me. I am a retired teacher and marathon runner, and I worked as a professional dog runner in NYC. I can also provide references for my experience, diligence, capability, devotion, and character. I will show up reliably on time, follow your directions carefully, provide lots of pictures and details, and go the extra mile to ensure your pets are loved and safe.

Safety, trust & environment
First, I arrive on time. Then I check the overall state of the pets and home for health and safety. Next, I love and feed them and change their water according to their owners' instructions. I clean the litter and the surrounding area. For dogs, I get them out for their walks/ runs/ playtime as soon as I arrive, and on dog walks, I'm a diligent poop-scooper. For cats and dogs, I will play with and groom them, and exude love. All along, I will take pictures and send them to you. Once the visit is over, I'll ensure that everything in your home is in order and the door is securely locked.

Miriam (my cousin) will be a fabulous pet caregiver. She has been the loving, caring, and extremely proud mom to cats her whole life, and grew up with dogs, so she is comfortable with and knows both well. She has tremendous energy (marathon runner, ballroom dancer) and would make sure any pup in her care receives the right amount of exercise. She is also responsible and would know what to do should the unexpected arise. If we did not live in different states, I would have her take care of my pet when I travel without hesitation!
Hello! I have been friends with Miriam for many years and have seen first hand how loving and caring she is with not only her beloved two cats but with other animals, friends and family too. Very dedicated pet parent of her own animals, as well of caring of all animals in general! I met her when a cat was abandoned in our building, and we were both worried about finding the owner and taking care of it. She ended up taking the cat in, and we both worked together to find it a long-term home! She is motivated and has high standards. Very trust worthy.

Schedule
I recently retired and am available every day and most evenings of the week except for occasional Wed., Fri, and Sat. evenings but I can adapt my schedule to yours.
